Project Title:

Scalable Process Development for Protein Extraction from Highly Concentrated Microalgae Broths

• Abstract:

The project Proteins4Singapore aims to address Singapore's aspiration to identify domestically grown protein-rich raw materials for the production of novel foods. Proteins4Singapore microalgae which can be grown in highly urbanized environments.

In this master’s/intern project, we will focus on processing microalgae to extract fractions high in protein from concentrated biomass slurries. To facilitate industrial-scale implementation, considerations for scalability and cost-effectiveness are paramount. The initial phase involves establishing a mechanical processing method for microalgae.

Further, microalgae cultures will undergo cross-flow filtration and continuous centrifugation for dewatering. To assess the impact of viscosity on the process, viscosity, and flow index values will be determined. For disruption, high-pressure homogenization will be used on differently concentrated microalgae solutions. The goal is to determine the maximum solid load of microalgae and assess disruption efficiency with increased solid loads.

Following the disruption, debris will be separated from soluble proteins through centrifugation and cross-flow filtration. Subsequently, these solutions will be separated from potential valuable co-products, while monitoring protein stability in highly concentrated solutions. Finally, cost efficiency and economic aspects will be evaluated.

RESPONSIBILITIES

An essential managerial position within the Growth and Audio team, responsible for contributing to the strategic direction and development of audio content. In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in aiding and shaping the activities and content planning associated with General Entertainment Audio (Chinese & Malay stations) and melisten under the guidance of the lead. The ideal candidate should possess analytical acumen, creative prowess in ideation, and robust organizational and leadership capabilities. Familiarity with audio operations, a genuine passion for radio, and a comprehensive understanding of the music industry would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

Technical Innovation:

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in audio production and digital platforms, with a particular focus on developing AI DJs to enhance and elevate our content offerings.

Budget Management:

• Collaborate closely with the finance department to formulate and manage budgets for audio production and events, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource utilization.

Strategic Content Planning:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar, aligning programming with strategic objectives and special events to ensure a dynamic and engaging schedule.

Execution Excellence:

• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure the flawless execution of planned content across various platforms, maximizing the reach and engagement impact of our programming.

Collaborative Content Development:

• Work closely with audio personalities to co-create unique and compelling content that caters to the preferences of our target audience.

Brand Integrity:

• Uphold and strengthen the station's brand identity across all audio and digital platforms, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand message.

Collaborative Marketing:

• Collaborate with marketing teams to synchronize audio content with broader marketing strategies, enhancing overall brand consistency and impact.

Data-Fluency:

• Utilize data analytics tools to track audience engagement metrics, providing valuable insights for optimizing content strategy and enhancing overall performance.

Performance Measurement:

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the audio team and leverage analytics to measure and continuously improve team performance.

Community Connection:

• Plan and execute engaging community events, utilizing the station's presence to connect with the local community and exploring partnerships with local organizations for enhanced outreach.

Marketing Synergy:

• Work closely with the digital marketing team to seamlessly integrate audio content into popular social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Develop strategies for effective cross-promotion between audio content and other digital and video assets, maximizing our presence across various channels.

• Possess at least Degree
• Have excellent planning & organization skills, meticulous and people skills
• Experience in radio broadcasting is preferred

Job Scope:

• Promote the product to drive sales
• Implement action plans to achieve sales targets
• Track self/team progress against key performance indicators and sales plans
• Prioritise and review daily sales activities performed
• Execute sales activities for assigned businesses/territories, including adequate stock, proper pricing structures, promotional campaigns, planogram implementation, etc.

Executive Support

• Attend to assignments or queries proactively
• Atend and draft client's meeting minutes

Dynamic Adaptation:

Manage portfolio of companies with minimal supervision.

Qualification, Competencies/ Other Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate secretarial work.
• Diploma holder with related experience or degree holder or holder of a professional certificate in chartered secretary.
• Good understanding of regulatory and statutory requirements of the Singapore Companies Act.
• Ability to organise and prioritise work.
• Possess a flexible and proactive attitude.
• Good command of English is a key requirement.
