What you will be involved in:

Human Resource Interns will be involved in three main aspects of HR:

1. Recruitment

• Assist in job postings via the various online recruitment job portals
• Drafting of different types of contracts, such as Offer letter
• Arrange interviews for shortlisted candidates

2. Retraining

• Recommend the appropriate e-learning courses and/or classroom-based courses to our staff
• Follow up with each staff member’s feedback on his or her completed training
• Follow up with the staff’s performance after training with his or her reporting officer and recommend if the course should be continued for other staff

3. Retention

• Assist in the administration of staff benefits & schemes
• Learn about the different leave entitlements of each employee and link up with our Manpower’s regulations
• Assist in the accountability of the leave reports of all staff to facilitate monthly payroll processing
• Planning of company bonding, CSR and celebratory events

• Currently a full-time student pursuing major in Human Resources Management or related fields

• Detail-oriented
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Able to work in a team and independently as well
• Must be able to commit full time for at least 4 months

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage VMware and other vCenter environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Configure and maintain Meraki switches and access points, as well as Fortigate firewalls, ensuring network security and efficiency.
• Administer Windows servers, including MS-SQL and IIS servers to support development projects and assist with creating queries and reports.
• Support and maintain Windows workstations and laptops, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.
• Implement and manage backup/recovery solutions, along with comprehensive disaster recovery plans to safeguard data and operations.
• Collaborate with HQ to align with corporate IT standards, including maintaining and updating ISO documentation as required.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma/Degree in Computer Engineering, Information technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT infrastructure management
• Able to start within short notice is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of VMware and vCenter environments.
• Proficient in SQL and IIS server management.
• Hands-on experience with Windows servers and workstations.
• Familiar with Meraki and Fortigate products.
• Experience in office 365 installation and configuration.
