The Public Policy and Global Affairs Programme is one of the four major programmes in the School of Social Sciences, together with Sociology, Psychology, and Economics. The successful candidate will have a PhD in political science or in a related field, a strong track record of research commensurate with career stage (e.g., publishing in established peer-reviewed journals in the discipline, securing and managing externally funded research, organising conference panels and workshops) and effective teaching and training of undergraduate and/or graduate students.

Area of specialization within political theory is open, however we particularly welcome candidates who are able to offer courses in non-Western political thought. The willingness to contribute to the university’s new major program in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics will also be considered a significant asset.

In addition to developing their own research programme, we expect the successful candidate to contribute to teaching undergraduate and graduate core modules in the PPGA Programme, and modules in their areas of specialisation. Job Description:
We are seeking motivated individuals who have completed their O-Level, LCCI, or are recent graduates with little to no prior experience in accounting. On-the-job training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger Management:

• Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger.
• Record daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Process staff claims efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Accounts Payable:

• Manage accounts payable entries.
• Verify supplier invoices with supporting documents such as Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO), and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
• Organize and maintain a filing system for supplier invoices and relevant documents.
• Prepare prepayment payment vouchers.

Accounts Receivable:

• Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers.
• Update weekly customer aging reports by Salesperson and by Company.
• Send Statements of Account (SOA) to customers at month-end.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Our client is Freight forwarding service in Singapore, you will be taking the responsible on for managing the flow of goods within the warehouse, ensuring smooth operations from receiving to dispatch. Tasks and Responsibilities

• To assist Fire Safety Manager in the implementation of protocols as per Emergency Response Procedure (ERP) to be in line and compliance with Singapore Fire Code requirements.
• To assist Fire Safety Manager in conducting relevant drills as per frequency stipulated by SCDF.

• Experience in leading and managing a team of responders for the mentioned emergency scenarios
