Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting dentists in managing the clinical treatment of patients
- Preparing patients for dental work and providing excellent patient care
- Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials and assisting with dental procedures
- Recording treatment information in patient records
- Exposing dental x-rays from dental diagnostics
- Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentists
- Upkeep and maintain dental equipment, facilities and facade
- Forming preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts
- Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory
- Receiving and recording dental supplies, liaison with suppliers
- Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions
- Counter duties such as booking of appointments, answering phone calls and enquiries, cashiering, submission of claims, scanning of documents
- Daily, weekly and monthly reporting to management
- Other ad-hoc duties
Job Requirements:
- Experience in using computer such as Google Drive and software such as Clinic Assist
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Possess professional appearance and attitude
- Able to provide excellent patient care and is patient
- Able to work as a team and individually at the same time
- Experience/ Non-experienced, on-the-job training provided
