Our client is of the leading manufacturer in Singapore for building automation products. Their core business is in the manufacturing of smart DDC controllers and other supplementary products for Smart Building Control Systems. They are a wholly-owned subsidiary of a listed Japanese MNC.

Assistant Project Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with external parties and customers to plan, organize and direct activities for the assigned projects to ensure safe and smooth execution of project operations;
- Develop project schedules in compliance with customers’ requirements, deadlines, and/or milestones; develop mechanisms to track the progression as scheduled in the field; and update the schedules on regular basis;
- Responsible for site activities, coordination and supervision work related to engineering and systems design;
- Ensure timely completion of all projects particularly the T/C schedules;
- Responsible for project management including meetings, coordination, supervision, submission of shop drawing including design and planning and submission of documentation and claims, etc.;
- Prepare and review project scope of work and cost estimation for procurement of hardware and services. Manage vendors and review their performance;
- Manage sub-contractors including planning and site activity;
- Assist project managers in drafting quotations, contracts and agreements;
- Liaise with consultants, architects and contractors and handle all technical matters;
- Ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Diploma and/or Degree in engineering equivalent;
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience;
- Prefer to have relevant experience in ELV system (Security Access Control System, PA, Fire Alarm System, Structured Cabling & etc);
- Have strong knowledge in designing a system for ELV security system;
- Able to manage an ELV engineering projects cycle independently with minimum supervision.
