THE IDEAL ONE:
A Regional HR Manager for our operations in South-East Asia. You bring a wealth of experience in the Human Resources field. With over 5 years of experience under your belt, you would have developed an in-depth understanding of HR best practices within Singapore and South-East Asia markets. Your strong change management competencies coupled with your ability to build effective interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company make you a strong contender for this role. Your leadership and influencing skills, as well as your active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, will be key to your success in this position.

YOU SHOULD EXPECT TO:
Hiring and Talent Management:
- Lead Talent Review and People Development initiatives to strengthen core competencies that align with business needs and strategic priorities.
- Ensure hiring evaluation matrices are of quality and are consistent with HQ needs. Leverage on appropriate personality tests and/or tests to find the right fit.
- Review and fine-tune job grade framework that supports role structures to promote clear career pathways, succession planning, and talent mobility within workforce.
- Implement effective talent management strategies, including performance management, career development, succession planning and ensure continuous inflow of talent across regions.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Conduct appropriate benchmarking exercises, to ensure we offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and industry standards, and to attract new hires and retain existing employees.
- Manage job evaluations and reclassifications to ensure roles are accurately reflected and compensation is equitable across region.
HR Strategy, Operations and Compliance:
- Review and enhance existing HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, employment regulations across South-East Asia, and to monitor and improve employee engagement. We support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
- Review monthly payroll & CPF & annual Income Tax declarations (applicable for Singapore only), and administering annual performance appraisal exercise, in tune with annual salary review and annual bonus review exercises.
HR Information Systems and Reporting:
- Maintain and manage HRIS (HR Information Systems) to meet evolving needs, including regular HR reporting, manpower planning, and budgeting. Provide data-driven ‘people’ solutions for management decision-making.
Interactions:
- Work alongside key stakeholders, and local HR partners and be the trusted advisor to meet HR related business and organizational objectives. Be the HR subject matter expert for the organization.
ARE YOU THE ONE?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred,
- At least 5 years of experience in the Human Resources field
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices in Singapore and South-East Asia markets,
- Demonstrated competencies in change management, and the building and effective management of interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company,
- Leadership and influencing skills,
- Excellent communication, active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills,
- Competency in both English and Chinese is preferred. Additional competencies in regional languages are a plus.
