The Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for driving the organization's financial success by managing comprehensive accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

This position reports to the Senior Financial Controller and is part of the Finance Department, located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Manage full set of accounts including monthly closing and completion of monthly account reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly GST and work closely with local tax agent to ensure timely submission of corporate tax return. Support self revenue recognition testing, internal and external audits.
• Support the business to drive sustainable profitable growth and meet financial objectives.
• Maintain strong internal controls, ensure compliance to US GAAP, local laws and regulations and Danaher/Leica policies.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Accounting Degree or equivalent with >5 years’ experience in handling full set of accounts
• Knowledge of SAP is a must
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, knowledge of Power BI is a plus

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Asst Brand Manager to support the team to achieve our aggressive growth plans.

The Role

This is a dynamic role hands-on role where you’ll work closely with other different channels, departments, and suppliers to develop existing and new brands.

Overall Brand Management (60%) - All channels- Key Accounts, Food Service, E-Commerce, General Trade & CVS

· Key band custodian/champion for multiple brands to achieve business objectives.

• Develop and support marketing strategies to improve brand awareness, business profitability and alignment of brand objectives.
• Identify opportunities of the current business to optimize brand’s volume, revenue growth and market share across all channels.
• Support FS team, develop collaborations, grow FS sales and handle all customer requests for all brands.
• Develop and support annual marketing calendar, plan and implement a creative and integrated marketing program and campaign(4P's)
• Manage BTL executions (trade marketing, tactical promotion, sampling exercise, premiums sourcing, POS materials, dress-up) with 3rd party vendors.
• Manage brand’s social media, website and content approval independently with digital media agencies with the objective of increasing sales turnover and profitability.
• Manage pricing across all channels with the approval of senior marketing manager.
• Ensure brand activations/promotions are rolled out in timely manner across MT, GT, Ecom.
• Support to plan, develop, and implement launch of new products.
• Support & ensure on-shelf merchandising standards.
• Support to manage brand & trade marketing plans and A&P expenses
• Manage all customer enquiries/requests from all channels
• Conduct product training and brief field team on trade activations/new & promo skus launch.

Inventory Management (25%)

• Manage sales demand planning (ROF)
• Coordinate closely with logistics for incoming shipment tracking. Accurately reflect supplier in-coming changes, ad-hoc review and follow-up action plans with supplier/supply team to minimize overstocks.
• Work closely with supply chain team to ensure correct ordering mix across all skus with overall stock holding days kept within contractual.
• Prompt review and action on the obsolesces to minimize the non-working or slow-moving inventory.

Brand Management - E-Commerce Business (15%)

• Brand custodian/champion for selected brands
• Develop and manage E-commerce business, promotions, and awareness working closely with channel managers.
• Support in development of feature ads/image requirements.
• Support to manage brand & trade marketing plans and A&P expenses

The ideal candidate:

• Fresh graduates with good learning attitudes are also welcome
• Baking and cooking experience is desirable
• Experience in working with the dairy/ chilled sector would be desirable
• Able to work independently and deliver results
• Brand awareness - a clear understanding of brands, marketing mix, and digital marketing management
• A high degree of business acumen and strong focus on results to drive growth across channels
• Ability to analyze problems and identify solutions
• Able to take a creative, flexible, and innovative approach
• Able to cope with stress and demand required by the interaction with many departments.

• Establish and maintain vessel operation and maintenance, a
• Approve inventory on order parts and supplies.
• Monitor and maintain the vessel’s Fuelling, electrical, and machinery equipment.
• Conduct routine checks of fuel pumps, fire extinguishers, and safety equipment.
• Enforce and adhere to safety regulations and policies.
• Daily checks on all vessels on the readiness for deployment
• Shifting of boats within the yard when necessary.
• Inspection of deck and engine log books.
• Ensuring the vessel’s crew maintains daily engine and auxiliary checklists and records.
• Recording of Bunker records.

Job requirements

1. Steersman License or higher

3. ⁠knowledge on Cummins, Volvo penta, Mitsubishi marine engines.

4. ⁠ZF gearbox knowledge and various gensets.
