Head of Psychologist (Special Needs)
Salary Range: $6000 - $8000
Working Days: 5 Days Mon-Fri 8.30AM-6.00PM

Job Descriptions:
Conduct Psychological Assessments
- To formulate evidence-based and data-driven hypothesis for challenging/complex cases.
- Manage and prepare reports for challenging cases.
- Evaluate assessment tools and make adaptation for application, i.e. MCA, intake assessment, etc.
- Provide psychological inputs during multi-disciplinary team discussion or case conference.
Deliver interventions/Case Work
- To formulate evidence-based and data-driven intervention plan for complex cases.
- Implement intervention plan for complex cases across multi-disciplinary team.
- Monitor progress of the intervention through data collection.
- Review and adjust intervention according to data collected.
Build stakeholder relationship.
- Provide Psychological expertise to other organisations, relevant professionals.
- Collaborate with external organisations and the community to deliver and improve students/client care services
Maintain, professional, legal and ethical standards
- Develop framework for implementing professional standards in clinical, legal and ethical practices within departments.
- Monitor staff adherence to policies and procedures for professional practices.
- Lead quality improvement projects to improve client/students’ services.
Uplift professional practice in Psychology
- Review and improve in the models of care and service delivery based on research and emerging trend.
- Deliver training program in the area of specialisation in Psychology.
- Provide mentoring and supervision to psychologists.
Job Specifications:
- Possess at least a master’s degree in psychology, preferably with 8 – 10 years of relevant experience
- Fully Registered Psychologist with SPS, (or with a Recognised Psychological Board)
- Experience with special needs children/adults preferred
