The Customer Service Executive is part of the customer service team running the order-to-cash flow, with key focus on ensuring internal and external customers are taken care of in a timely manner. Other working partners include other functions within the office, 3PL warehouse and so on.
Job Description:
- Hands-on processing and ownership of full order-to-cash function for varied customers across Bangladesh, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, China, Pakistan for a start, but not limited to.
- Ensure timely booking of customer orders (issuance of PI/contracts) in line with SLA to customer.
- Managing letters of credit (LCs) and ensuring compliance when negotiating through bank.
- Communicate updates to customers in any event of adjustments to supplies/shipment schedules. Have good understanding for First Expire First Out (FEFO) rule on inventory utilization, as well as shelf-life & expiry dates of materials
- Review allocation plans with countries where needed and issue pick lists to our 3rd party warehouse
- Responsible for clean shipping documents for drop shipments from our production plants.
- Meticulous preparation of final set of shipping documents in line with customer and/or LC
- requirements, for submission to bank.
- Ensure all necessary documents are available (invoices, CN/DN, freight bills, etc.) and submitted to finance at month end.
- Communicate order status to country sales teams on periodic basis.
- Ad hoc tasks/duties that may be assigned as and when necessary.
Job Requirement:
- Diploma/Degree in relevant field
- Experience in managing OTC for customers around the region
- Possess strong working knowledge and negotiation of Letters of Credit via banks.
- Understands a variety of other payment terms such as open account, D/P (Documents against Payment), D/A (Documents against Acceptance), T/T (Telegraphic Transfer).
- Have experience in SAP R3 or S4 Hana.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
