A. PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE

Report to the Sport Director (Diving & Artistic Swimming) and Vice President (Diving). To ensure, that within the guidelines and constraints determined by Singapore Aquatics (SAQ), the National Diving Assistant Coach (Development) is responsible for the development and coaching of the athletes in the national development programmes.

B. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Technical Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sport Director (Diving & Artistic Swimming) to identify talent, as well as develop and implement training and competition plans for the national diving junior and development squads.
• To coach the national junior and development squads.
• Assist the Sport Director (Diving & Artistic Swimming) to conduct coaching courses and mentor club coaches at the participation and developmental level.

2. Reports

• Provide coach reports for overseas trips.
• Provide periodic monitoring and assessment updates on individual diver’s performance and training plans.

C. JOB HOLDER REQUIREMENTS

Experience

Possess relevant diving coaching certifications. Must be qualified in all aspects of dryland and water overhead spotting harness and hand assisted spotting.

Experienced in coaching divers successfully at major national meets at the junior and age-group levels of 11-18 years old. Have minimum 3 years of coaching experience.

Shows enthusiasm and preparedness to put athlete performance before personal considerations.

Available to attend all pre-competition meetings, training camps and meets if required.

Ability to work on weekends.

Ability to travel overseas.

Ability to speak English is an advantage.

Role:

Account Assistant (Woodlands / Up to $2800)

• Location: Senoko, Woodlands
• Salary: $2,500 - $2800
• Working days: Monday - Friday 8:30am – 6pm

Job responsibilities

• Main Function - Accounts receivable, including Credit Control, process documents received from customers, monthly accrual Journals, manage a small set of Malaysia’s accounts
• Process and prepare accounting source documents such as cheque payment, payment vouchers, manage stationeries etc
• Filing and custody of accounting documents assigned
• To follow up with Customers on payment issues
• To support in preparation of weekly, monthly accounting reports needed for audit or management reporting
• Ad hoc analysis, project work and duties assigned

Job Requirements

• With at least 1 year of relevant working experience
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Words, Outlook)
• Candidate with knowledge of Microsoft Navision Accounting system will have competitive advantage
