Retail Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact, greet and assist customers with product inquires
and recommendations.
- Manage sales transactions, process payments and handle returns/exchanges.
- Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocktaking and organizing new stock.
- Set up and participate in store events or creative workshops for children.
- Maintain a clean, organized and inviting store environment.
- Provide support with any administrative tasks.
- Assist with online orders and packaging.
Terms and Requirements:
- Prior work experience in retail or customer service is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused mindset
- Basic computer skills for operating the POS system
- Able to work in retail operation timing including weekends, Public Holidays
- Enthusiastic about working with children, stationary and creative products
