The Department of Architecture in the College of Design and Engineering is ranked among the top 10 in the world, and Asia’s best in Architecture/Built Environment, by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings (2023). Qualifications

The Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore invites applications for up to two Tenure track (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor) position in urban planning and design. Successful candidates should be actively engaged with urban issues in Asia. They should have interests in developing interdisciplinary research to address pressing challenges to high-density urban environment, especially in Asia. They are strongly encouraged to develop collaborative research in the context of the newly established College of Design and Engineering as well as with industry partners and government agencies within and beyond Singapore.

Job Description

Strategic Implementation of Regional Initiatives

• Enhance our target growth in student diversity through regional engagement initiatives
• Manage international relations - support the Business School's vision to lead from Asia
• Identify, optimize and develop strategic partnerships with large regional organizations and institutions to expand market reach and engagement
• Actively seek out and generate leads to expand opportunities and conversations
• Drive the development of a robust pipeline of industry alliances, both locally and regionally

Corporate Engagement and Stakeholder Mapping

• Develop outreach efforts by identifying senior contacts within target organisations and initiate programmes with view to increase the number of academia and corporate partnerships
• Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and generate high-level opportunities for potential collaborations and partnerships effectively

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to jointly increase brand and programme level awareness in key markets through outreach efforts
• Adopt a collaborative approach in engaging and influencing key internal stakeholders to support larger school goals in addition to their individual programme office objectives

Events Planning

• Strategic planning of selected events that align with the Business School’s vision. This includes conceptualisation of the programme flow, invitation of appropriate guest speakers, engagement activities, liaison with stakeholders and the overall management control of logistics and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
• Strong leadership profile with excellent interpersonal skills across organisational hierarchy and ability to work effectively with a diverse community
• Communicate effectively with senior-level B2B - lead generation through business closing. and represent the university professionally in all interactions
• Proven competencies in business development and demonstrated success in driving account growth
• Able to work with loosely defined problem spaces, and investigate to sense-make, propose and implement sound and timely solutions
• Proven track record in industry collaboration and experience in the higher education sector will be advantageous

(Appointment job grade will commensurate with the selected candidate's experience)

• Ensure the timely completion of assembly builds and tests in compliance with specified requirements, drawings, and work instructions.
• Assist with gas panel assembly, encompassing the initial stages of pallet assembly, leak testing, and integration, as well as the final stages of functional testing and final quality control inspection.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocols.

Requirements:

• Nitec in Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in Manufacturing/Semiconductor industry.
• Able to understand schematic and mechanical drawings.
