Responsibilities

• Oversee all HR functions such as employee recruitment, work pass applications, payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.
• Ensure the HR system is in line with business objectives and functioning effectively.

• Execute daily HR tasks in compliance with regulations and deadlines.
• Collaborate with external consulting and recruitment agencies for HR-related tasks.
• Assist Japanese expatriates with business trip arrangements and coordinate requests from the Japanese headquarters.

Requirements

• Min 2 - 3 years of HR related experience including payroll
• Business (close to native) proficiency in Japanese language is needed to liaise with Japanese speaking counterparts in Japan
• Possess strong knowledge in MOM and employment regulations

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate recruitment procedures, including drafting job descriptions and scheduling interviews.
• Manage contracts and oversee payroll activities.
• Ensure adherence to performance management protocols.
• Handle general administrative tasks, such as maintaining personnel records and data entry.
• Identify and fulfill staff training needs as directed by supervisors.
• Coordinate international personnel movements, including visa arrangements and accommodation.
• Verify compliance with certification and regulatory requirements.
• Address any other ad-hoc operational tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 2 years of relavant Offshore crewing experience

Job Description

• Monitor and maintain fleet marine operations status
• Attend on board vessels to carry out surveys and investigations pertaining to vessel fuel.
• Co-ordinate with crews onboard, foreman and liaise with them in respect of work schedules and requirements.
• Handling port Clearance Matters
• Monitor vessels daily performance at sea to minimize delays, claims and/or disputes
• Calculating the diesel usage from one location to another and determine the amount of diesel given to the tugboats.
• Maintain direct communication, including frequent visits with crews.
• Ensure safe operations of the vessels and compliance to all international marine requirements
• Other adhoc duties as assigned by immediate superior
