Responsibilities

• Render support on engagements related to forensic advisory engagements
• Conduct research and analysis to uncover evidence surrounding financial irregularities and/or fraudulent transactions (involving assessment of books and records, examination of transactional documents and other relevant documentation)
• Conduct corporate intelligence and background searches on relevant entities to identify business profile and potential relationships
• Conduct research on relevant international standards, laws, and regulations in connection with the subject matters of the engagement
• Prepare working papers detailing work performed, findings and client deliverables

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Legal support services within the CAO group of companies which may include drafting, reviewing and negotiating of various types of commercial contracts including contracts involving the sale and purchase of oil products, charter-party agreements, storage leases, corporate guarantees, letters of intent, multi-party settlement agreements, financing documents, supply agreement and logistics agreements, insurance contracts;
• Legal support to associated companies: Review of all legal documents, board resolutions, shareholders' resolutions, and by-law amendments;
• Projects Investment-related: Assist in the review of investment-related transactional documents which may include the review and negotiation of non-disclosure agreements, terms of engagement of professional advisers, legal due diligence reports, joint venture agreement, long-term storage agreement, land leases and other related documents, liaise with external legal counsels or other professional advisers and coordinate with other parties involved in the project;

Requirements:

• Recognised degree in law, preferably admitted to the Singapore Bar or a common law jurisdiction;

What will your day look like?

As an Associate Director, Specialised Transaction Management, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Effective management and monitoring of a portfolio of complex Corporate Finance Intl transactions that covers Project Finance, Structured Export Finance, Structured Asset Finance and Acquisition Finance.
• Support the delivery and execution of the Corporate Finance International strategy.

JOB SUMMARY

• The role holder will be accountable for business change and transformation of the Transaction Banking business and core business enablement initiatives. Job Responsibilities

· Accurately process end-to-end payroll for all employees, including calculations, deductions, and payments.

· Handle monthly CPF contributions, income tax submissions, and other statutory requirements.

· Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, bonuses, and other compensation.

· Stay updated with local payroll regulations and ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws.

· Prepare and submit statutory reports, including IR8A, IR21, and other relevant filings.

· Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

· Address payroll-related queries from employees promptly and professionally.

· Provide guidance and support regarding payroll policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.

· Maintain and update payroll system records accurately.

· Oversee employee insurance plans, including medical, dental, and life insurance.

· Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding insurance and benefits-related inquiries.

· Coordinate with insurance brokers to address any issues or updates.

Job Requirements

· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing.

· Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, CPF regulations, and tax requirements.

· Prior experience in SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HANA would be advantageous.

As part of the Technology Risk practice, you will collaborate with a dynamic team of experienced consultants and engage with our clients from different sectors, addressing their technology risk challenges and implementing robust risk management strategies. What you will do:

As a Technology Risk Manager/ Associate Director, your role will encompass a range of responsibilities with a focus on mitigating technology-related risks:

• Participate in business development activities such as responding to proposal requests, presentations, and publications.
• Lead the planning and execution of technology risk engagements. Assist in the development of risk-based IT internal audit programmes. Close out engagements by producing high quality documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Support the assessment of technology risks and evaluate the design and operation of client controls related to complex IT environments and systems against KPMG’s frameworks, regulatory and third-party frameworks.
• Use advanced tools and technology to increase productivity and effectiveness of our review and advice to clients.
• Identify and communicate value-adding recommendations on technology risk and control management issues, as well as performance improvement opportunities for clients.
• Attend meetings with all levels of client stakeholders to define problem statements, analyse key priorities/ issues and collaborate with team members to conduct workshops, develop responses to client enquiries and ensure timely reporting.
• Develop and conduct training for internal and external audiences on IT risks, governance, and controls.
• Involvement in end-to-end technology risk engagements; working alongside team members from various functions to overlay point-of-views (POVs) and industry insights via research and analysis; formulate solutions and recommendations to address clients’ needs, challenges and risks.
• Collaborate across global and advisory teams in technology consulting, cyber security, internal audit and deals advisory to deliver holistic solutions and multiple POVs to clients.

Who you are:

• Possess recognised tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Accountancy/Commerce/Business, or related disciplines.
• First-hand experience of 7 to 8 years in IT audit/ assurance, or IT advisory; experience in any of the following areas will be advantageous: IT Risk and Compliance, IT Governance, IT Internal Controls, IT Audit.
• Certifications in CISA will be required and certification in CISSP, CCSP or equivalent will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of information security, IT management, system development lifecycle, and ability to learn emerging methodologies, technologies and new skills quickly.
• Self-motivated individual with inquisitive, innovative and resourceful mindset, able to work under pressure with changing priorities.
• Strong client, stakeholder and team management abilities coupled with excellent communication, written, analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present ideas and results to technical and non-technical audiences, which include audit committees and senior management.
• Be innovative and resourceful with strong interpersonal, organisational, presentation and report writing skills, have a naturally inquisitive mind and be able to think “outside the box”.
