RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead research design, delivery and support
- Assist to guide and mentor junior research associates and research assistants - including reviewing drafts, and keeping open channel of communication for discussions
- Conduct research on a range of dispute resolution topics, including mediation, arbitration, investor-state dispute settlement, and produce quality articles to be published in industry journals, blogs, or academic journals
- Speak at and attend events to profile SIDRA's research and present on topics in dispute resolution
- Key liaison between SIDRA and other dispute resolution institutions, training partners, Government officials, experts, NGOs and other organisations
- Oversee the planning and management for SIDRA's events during the annual Singapore Convention Week, and other SIDRA events on an ad hoc basis
- Assist with editing, formatting, cite-checking and revision of SIDRA research products
- Prepare and manage the Steering Committee meetings, including overall management of research proposals
- Prepare SIDRA's reports to the University, Government officials, and to other stakeholders
- Work with Centre Manager to draw up budgets, execute vendor agreements, and ensure standard operating procedure compliance
- Administer the accreditation for SIDRA's training programmes with the Singapore International Mediation Institute and International Mediation Institute, and other training progarmmes as necessary, and publicise training courses
- Maintaining SIDRA's online presence and social media by curating posts on SIDRA's events and trips
- Assist the Director and Deputy Director on general matters relating to stakeholder management and research staff
- Supervise student research assistants
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-doctorate/post-graduate degree {LLM or JD)/degree in law, desirable but not strictly essential
