Summary
- Supports ESE (External Scientific Engagement) Lead for end-to-end execution and coordination of digital and face-to-face SEA trainings for MSL(Medical Science Liaison) Medical Affairs teams in the region.
- Support Medical Education and Compliance Lead to execution and coordination of SEA Medical Education activities
Responsibilities:
Capability Building (60%)
- Support ESE Lead to identify training needs and implement effective and results driven training programs to support the development needs.
- Develop strategic thinking and the ability to take on difficult conversations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support ESE Lead to assess and address the MSL team's onboarding needs, implementing streamlined systems to ensure a seamless onboarding process for newly hired MSLs.
- Leveraging and building robust cross functional partnerships with cross functional teams and regional teams, to identify and implement effective MSL Training through new tools, platforms and experiences from internal J&J companies or external best practices.
- Collaborate with OpCos (Operating Company) and APAC Regional Therapeutic Area teams, to develop and update Field Medical/ Medical Affairs training curriculum.
- Partner with Medical Excellence & Compliance Lead and Country Medical Heads for new hire onboarding and to ensure appropriate training is assigned to regional MSL/MAF (Medical Affairs Function) associates.
- Partnering with patient support groups to bring the value of our innovative treatments.
- Collaborate with the MSL team to identify and assess training and development needs, ensuring continuous improvement in knowledge, skills, and competencies.
- Ensure that all MAF eLearning training programs are available and easily accessible through MAF Academy and SUMMIT
Medical Customer Engagement (20%)
- Support ESE lead to drive the transformation of medical customer engagement approaches using data and analytics and lead change management initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and report key customer engagement and impact metrics in collaboration with the local MAF teams.
- Develop strong internal networks with all functions to optimize support and recognition for the MSL/ Medical Affairs functions to enable high performance, including organizing of annual SEA MSL Summit.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement metrics to evaluate and monitor the impact and effectiveness of MSL activities and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop materials to support the training of MSLs/Medical Affairs teams on profiling and mapping across SEA
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of MSL processes, tools, and resources to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
Medical Education and Compliance Operations and Efficiencies (20%)
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with regulatory guidelines, HCBI (Healthcare Business integrity) and company policy
- EPIC Hiperos TPI DD submissions/ renewals – DD evaluation form and Business relationship creation
- Oversee agency partners in coordination of Medical Education activities including accountability for tracking progress of projects, their execution, and financial management.
- Collate and provide department performance metrics, reporting and communications to internal stakeholders
- Post-event tracking, filing as appropriate according to document retention and archiving policies
- Ad hoc:
- CPD/ CME submission to relevant external institutions and agencies
- Routing of letters and agreements for signature
- Assist the Medical Education and Compliance Associate in arranging the logistics needed for a Medical Education Event
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum 2 years event planning and management or related area, and preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience
- Project management desirable
