JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an independent, responsible and pro-active senior audit associate.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include collaborating with team members to deliver high quality statutory audits and delivering a positive client experience. You will work closely with managers and team members on client management and practice development.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

· Degree/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent; CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent is highly desirable

· Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in SFRS and SSA

· Strong client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships

· Build rapport and collaborate effectively with others, creating a positive team environment

· Seek opportunities to learn and make constructive suggestions for improvements

· Respect various cultures and diversities

· Adapt communication style to meet the needs of the situation and targeted audience

· Ability to handle multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment

· Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills

· Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit preparation software

· Proficiency in CaseWare is preferred

· Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites

· 2 to 5 years of progressive audit experience

The Associate will provide critical support in sourcing, candidate management, and market research to enable the team to deliver exceptional service to clients while driving business development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Candidate Sourcing & Management:
• Conduct targeted research and sourcing for senior-level and niche roles across industries.
• Manage candidate pipelines, ensuring a seamless process from identification to onboarding.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records on CVs, candidate profiles, and interviews in the system.
• Engage directly with C-suite and senior-level professionals, building strong, professional relationships.
• Market Research & Mapping:
• Perform detailed market mapping to identify potential talent pools and industry trends.
• Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for talent acquisition strategies.
• Operational Support:
• Oversee administrative tasks, including database management and CV uploads.
• Ensure systems and tools are optimized for effective and efficient workflow.
• Business Development Support:
• Assist in identifying new market opportunities and contributing to the development of client proposals.
• Enable the team to focus on expanding client relationships by taking ownership of backend processes.

Requirements

• Minimum diploma or degree in a related business / HR field.
• A strong drive to succeed in sales is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Passion for identifying talent needs and assisting candidates in finding the right career path.
• Energetic and proactive personality with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
