• Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical or Biochemical Engineering or related field B. Sc with 2+ years relevant experience.
• The candidate will preferably have industrial experience in protein separation/downstream processing and sound chemical, statistical and biological training.

• Meeting with clients and other involved professionals at an early stage to agree on the project brief;

• Conduct chemical analysis using wet chemistry methods, HACH & APHA methodologies as well as ICP, TOC, IC, FTIR, UV_VIS instrumentation.
• Ensure reagents preparation, QA/QC and test methods are in compliance with ISO 17025 requirement.
• Upkeep equipment calibration, maintenance, and verification for lab quality management compliance.
• Perform sampling & on site testing when required
• Maintain 5S, Lab Safety Management and Chemical Inventory.
• Ensure chemicals and consumables availability and request for replenishment when necessary

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Process or Analytical course
• Proficient in using equipment eg IC, ICPMS, ICPOES, GC-MS could be added advantage
• In-depth understanding of testing concepts
• Ability to analyze and compile testing data from the tests performed
