1. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
reports.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and planning of budgets.
Monitor and report on budget variances.
Develop financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
3. Accounting Operations: Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts
payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure they are up-to-date.
4. Audit and Compliance: Participate in internal and external financial audits.
Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Implement and review financial controls to mitigate risks.
5. Financial Strategy and Planning: Provide financial insights and recommendations to
senior management.
Develop and implement financial policies to improve operational efficiency.
Supports the GM in strategic financial planning and decision-making.
6. Team Management: Supervise and train finance assistants.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations, costing and
tracking efficiency.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Skills and Qualifications
• Educational Background: A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a finance or accounting role and be well versed in handling multiple accounts including construction work in progress accounts.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ethics: High ethical standards and ability to manage confidential information.
