As an Accounting Associate, you may be assigned to support our clients in one or more of the following areas:
- Accounting and Book keeping
- Corporate Secretarial
- Human Resources and Payroll
- Tax (including Corporate Tax and GST).
You are expected to be a candidate with a minimum diploma level accounting qualification. An accounting degree/ACCA/ISCA qualification is an advantage.
Knowledge and experience in drafting financial statements (SFRS or similar standard) will be an advantage.
We would be keen on candidates who can commit to working at our office from Mondays to Fridays (full time), and are willing to travel to our clients’ premises from time to time.
We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and is a good communicator. Experience in accounting and book keeping in your previous roles is desirable.
You must be comfortable using at least one of the following accounting software packages for
SMEs (Quickbooks, or Xero), or be willing to learn these software packages.
The following skills will put the candidate at an advantage:
• familiarity with common IT applications in an office environment (e.g. Microsoft Office applications like Outlook, Excel, and Word);
• familiarity with cloud based IT systems;
• specialised accounting knowledge and skills e.g. drafting financial statements, knowledge of XBRL drafting and filing, tax etc.
