· Prepare tax computations in accordance with the Singapore Income Tax Act

· Assist to prepare an audit plan for an external audit

· Support Senior or Manager in audit planning, fieldwork, and audit reporting; prepare reports and communicate findings and recommendations to clients

· Perform internal control reviews and special purpose auditing projects

· Effectively communicate any audit issues in a timely and organised manner

· Assist in completing any other assigned tasks

· Undertake specific stages of audit work under supervision by Audit Senior and Manager

· Assist to evaluate the audit evidence obtained and perform audit procedures to meet the objectives of external audit engagements

· Assist Seniors or Manager in the planning, execution and finalization of all areas of audit for SMEs and listed entities

Requirements

· Partial ACCA or degree holder.

· 1 to 2 years' relevant experience is preferred for audit associate

· Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma

· Minimum of Diploma in Accountancy and working towards ACCA or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related field

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and Office 365

· Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude

Our Singapore practice is now seeking Auditor in its Audit & Assurance practice.

You will gain deep experience in audit planning, reviewing financial statements for statutory requirements, preparing consolidations and providing tax advice. Job Description

· Perform statutory audits of financial statements, due diligence and other assurance engagements

· Hold a portfolio of audit assignments for SMEs and MNCs in various industries

· Apply working knowledge of all audit sections including planning, fieldwork and review

· Develop risk assessments and determine the appropriate audit strategy for each assignment

· Perform analytical review of audit documents

· Ensure proper audit documentation and audit file quality

· Prepare recommendations for clients to improve controls and enhance business efficiency

• Partner with WE Comms teams across the global network to pursue cross-account / practices & global business opportunities
• Business Acumen and Strategic Thinking:

• Be responsible for a client portfolio in the ballpark of >$3 million in annual revenue
• Offers strategic and senior counsel to crises, business challenges, and opportunities that clients are looking to solve; the individual should be able to strategize and find solutions and strategic rationales, insights that drive the outcomes, through strategic narratives and an integrated approach in delivery.
• Be responsible for team utilization, financial & resource management
• Contribute to agency strategic planning initiatives

Client Engagement:

• Lead strategic client engagements for selected clients / counterparts in the Tech & Health business group

• Manage, build, and grow relationships with key, senior level stakeholders (media, analysts, key opinion leaders etc.)

• Understands the strategic imperative of risk management, issues, and scenario planning on behalf of our clients in the Tech & Health group

• Fluent in strategic narrative developments, integrated communication approaches, and key techniques of harnessing analytics and digital marketing
• Able to embed WE Comms’ digital agenda into key client businesses to drive greater accountability, impact, and influence for the work we do

People Leadership:

• Demonstrated experience in mentoring and motivating team members in the ballpark of a 3-level-span of control, with the goal of retention and development
• Oversee resource allocation across team including staffing/hiring/on boarding new talent
• Help ensure team is cross-trained & have a broad understanding of other businesses
• Partner with Human Resources to manage any employee relations issues
• Manage up & educate senior staff on crisis issues, & client/team satisfaction

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience preferably from a PR / integrated communication agency setting environment, along with 4 – 5 years of people management experience, managing a team
• Client and business environment: Customer service orientation is a must. Job pressure may exist from the requirement of handling multiple tasks
• Sound knowledge and passion for the Tech & Healthcare sector is a requirement
• Fast-paced team environment (frequent tight deadlines, multitasking, etc.)
• Roll your sleeves up, lead-from-the-front style leadership. Does more than directs
• Strong presentation and consulting skills, business development skills, along with good track-record of winning business pitches
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. A second regional language such as Mandarin would be a bonus
