We are developing an ambitious project on quantum processors based on a neutral atom array (NAA). The Visiting Associate Professor will explore numerically and experimentally sub-Doppler laser cooling as Polarization-gradient cooling, grey molasses, and Raman sideband cooling.

Job Requirements

• PhD in cold atoms gas or related topic;
• At least 4 years of experience as a research fellow or equivalent in cold atoms labs;
• Strong expertise in laser stabilisation;
• Strong expertise in experimental techniques related to cold atoms, such as: Vacuum, laser system, optics, interface.

Working days/hours:

- Any 5 days work week Mon to Sun

- AM Shift 7am to 430pm - $12/hr

- PM Shift 12pm to 9.30pm - $14/hr

Job Description:

- Performing reception and front desk duties.

- Portering and Triaging duties such as transfer of patients from one location to another.

- Attending to all enquiries of patients and visitors including phone enquiries.
