The Air Pollution and Health team's research of Prof. Steve Yim focuses on the interactions between climate and air quality, and the resultant impacts on public health and ecosystem. The team's ongoing research is to develop, advance and utilize the state-of-the-art multi-scale atmospheric models, along with measurement and statistical approaches, to understand the mechanisms that drive the climate-air quality interactions, and evaluate the impacts on human exposure, mosquito abundance and soil acidity.

Particular interests are in investigating air quality impacts of sectoral emissions and transboundary air pollution at multiple spatial scales, studying regional climate change due to land-use changes and global climate change, and evaluating and quantifying the effects of air pollution on respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. The team also assesses and develops emission control scenarios to provide scientific-based policy solutions for a sustainable environment in present and future years.

Responsibilities:

The position will be required to develop and apply modeling techniques to simulate the spatial distribution of air pollutants in a city at a high spatial resolution. The model development requires to collect data at different aspects. The position will have to work on the data collection, data processing, model development and application, and data analyses. The position has to document the model development and results in reports and peer-review international journals. The position will also have to complete tasks that his/her supervisor assigns.

Requirements:

• To have a master degree in atmospheric science/geography/meteorology/environment
• To have experience in development of spatial models especially land-use regression model or machine learning

Corporate Tax

• Assist and support in providing tax compliance and advisory services to clients spanning various industries
• Prepare clients' corporate and individual tax returns, including estimated chargeable income filing and withholding tax returns
• Assist clients in responding to queries from the tax authorities
• Attend to queries from clients and all matters arising from a portfolio of clients

GST

• Applying for GST registration/de-registration
• Preparing, reviewing and filing GST quarterly returns
• Assisting clients to apply for certain GST relief schemes

• Conducting GST health checks, ASK and ACAP reviews for clients

Job Requirements

• Preferably Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification in Accountancy or SCTP Accredited Tax Professionals are preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for all front-face process-related issues occurring during out-of-hours shift operation
• Monitor and sustain process performance on qualified processes and operations, monitoring SPC
• To troubleshoot out-of-control or process abnormality issues, lot disposition, and put the corrective actions in place
• Work closely with the process owner, equipment engineering, and operations teams to restore down process back to production and achieve modules objectives
• Deploy and review effective statistical control of processes to ensure a stable and robust processing platform. Respond to PR rules and follow CAS/SOP accordingly
• Provide details and accurate pass down of tools/process related and lot disposition during hand-over between shift process engineers or technicians
• Participate and assist in engineering improvement activities to assure continuous process yield and cost-saving projects
• Assign, and coordinate with the shift IC and other members on the daily shift to shift operation items
• Mentor and coach the junior new members
• To execute data analysis and situation awareness for excursion of process abnormality issues

Job Requirements

• Min Diploma in engineering/science or equivalent from a recognized institution
• 2 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with technical expertise and knowledge in dry/wet etch, thin film sputtering, backgrinding, and plating is advantageous
• Experienced in SPC and OCAP is advantageous
• Positive attitude with good communication and interpersonal skill
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willing to work in a clean room environment and on rotating shift

2.Sales Commitment

3.Inventory Management

•Monitor stock levels to ensure shelves are always well-stocked, tidy, and reflect accurate inventory levels to avoid customer dissatisfaction

•Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in cycle counts and annual stock takes to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent shrinkage

•Assist in coordinating with stock merchandisers and report low-stock or overstock situations to the team to support inventory management. (pending Cindy)

4.Store Operation & Safety

•Maintain store cleanliness to ensure the store is clean, organized, and presentable to reflect the brand's professionalism and attract customers

•Maintain merchandise in accordance with company’s visual merchandising guidelines. Actively participate in all merchandising activities including, but not limited to, daily stock maintenance, product transfers, and folding clothes.

•Support operational efficiency and to assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and securing the premises.

5.ILG Membership

•Register new members: Actively encourage customers to sign up and assist them through the registration process

•Promote ILG membership benefits: Educate customers on the advantages of ILG membership, such as exclusive discounts, events, and perks
