Our boutique litigation firm is seeking motivated and dedicated senior associate and junior associate (up to 3 years’ PQE) to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all stages of litigation, including legal research, drafting of pleadings, applications, affidavits and submissions, as well as preparing for hearings and trials.
• Conduct case analysis and develop strategies for resolving disputes in various areas of civil litigation, such as shareholder disputes, construction claims, landlord-tenancy disputes, contentious probate, and mental capacity matters.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to gather evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare for other legal proceedings.
• Maintain organized case files, track deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends to provide informed advice and representation.

Requirements:

• Qualified to practice law in Singapore.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience or coursework in civil litigation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Director (PD) in project functions, including project management, site management, and risk control to achieve project goals.
• Lead and mentor the project team by setting guidelines, providing advice, and supervising as needed.
• Oversee all project management activities from planning and coordination to completion within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Assist PD in compiling project progress reports (e.g., Monthly Report, VO Management, EOT Assessment, Project Progress Updates).
• Monitor the project schedule and manage daily operations, setting short- and long-term goals, coordinating with other contractors.
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure contract compliance and adherence to completion timelines.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors, attending regular meetings to ensure project progress.
• Supervise site labor and subcontractors, resolving construction issues as they arise.
• Oversee quality control, safety, and EHS practices on-site, identifying high-risk activities before construction and approving Method Statements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
• At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in LTA, roadworks, MRT, and viaduct projects.
