• Managing the development and implementation of the QMS for planning, fabrication, inspection, documentation, and operations activities including: Planning duties within the QA/QC staff and related work schedules; Establishing service standards for end users (i.e., internal department or external customer); Identifying and developing QA/QC personnel certification requirements and continuing education/training needs;
• Providing leadership, mentorship, and direction of all QA/QC personnel.
• Taking full responsibility for hold-point releases once all QMS functions have been completed and the equipment is ready to go into the next work stage.
• Developing and implementing risk-based inspection (RBI) activities and processes, using API 580 and other similar programs to develop internal standard practices.
• Managing plant integrity through a failure analysis reporting system and following up on recommendations.
• Oversee supervision of all visual inspections and NDE, including 3rd party subcontractors.
• Managing inspection, NDE, and testing plans for new construction, repair work, and alterations.
• Identify and develop solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies.
• Manage construction processes, plant equipment, inspection and NDE personnel certification and QMS internal audits.
• Other Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Description

As a Farm Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the farm operation. You have to ensure that the operation meets client requirement and expectation and undertake the advisory, administrative, compliance and practical duties to keep the site organized and operating within budget and time projections.

Job Description:

• Supervising projects: You oversees the direction of an entire project to ensure it meets expectations and deadlines. You may intervene if something is causing safety issues, adjust timelines based on the project's progress and regularly communicate project goals to on-site employees.
• Reviewing progress: You require to regularly review project progress to assess how closely it's proceeding to the projected timeline. If the project is behind schedule, you may implement strategies to hasten work and simplify approaches or adjust deadlines without compromising on quality or safety.
• Cost/Budget: You need to monitor the cost of the project and assess where and how the company is spending its budget. You will liaise with farm supervsiors and facilitates their investigations by keeping track of receipts, invoices, resource costs and personnel contracts
• Handling communications: You need to communicate about ongoing farm operations with anybody involved in the project, including clients, other contractors and members of the public. You control access to the site, communicate project progress, leverage resources and consult other specialists when their expertise is necessary
• Overseeing employee: You oversee employee and ensure they're conducting work to a high standard and in compliance with regulations. You also represent employees' interests by ensuring compliance with their rights and contracts and rewarding good performance.
• Acquiring resources: You source and select materials and tools to use in ongoing projects to ensure they meet goals. You may make decisions and changes midway through a project if it's going over budget or if more funding has become available in response to client communications
• Inspecting sites: Before compliance officers and inspectors visit a site, you are conduct regular safety inspections to check that the site adheres to regulations to ensure contractors are safe. This may involve making regular audits and inventories of supplies, tools and personnel to ensure they account for everything.

Requirements:

• Master/Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Horticulture/Urban Farming or equivalent
• Worked in a farm operations for at least 7 years of which 5 years in leading the team of more than 3 people will be added advantage
• Involvement in continual improvement activities: reduce operation cycle time, cost and improving quality / service level.
• Have handle project management in medium or large scale projects
• Good supervisory and managing leadership
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of manufacture of products featuring mechanical, electric and electronics systems
• The position requires an assured self-starter who manages the completion of his/her own work assignments independently, coordinates work with others and is comfortable training others

Shipping cum Admin Executive ( land & sea freights)

5 days, 8.30 - 6pm, required to OT

• Job Scopes:
• Prepare and handle all shipping documents, custom declaration and permit for import and export, including data compilation for invoices
• Ensure relevant shipping documents are ready and deliver to respective parties such as banks in a timely manner
• Correspondence with customers to ensure smooth and timely shipment delivery
• Ensure relevant supporting certificates are ready by the registration department prior to shipment
• Coordination with freight forwarders to schedule booking, transport & shipping documentation arrangements
• Provide daily customer service to customers or distributors on order follow up and shipping information
• May need to prepare L/C documentation and LC negotiation
• Other Admin and Ad Hoc duties when required.
• Preferably with some Book keeping knowledge
• Required skills:
• Experience in import and export documentation and shipping procedures
• Basic Bookkeeping
