Job Purpose:

The Senior Manager of Cloud Infrastructure Services will oversee the build, delivery, management, and operations of cloud infrastructure and cloud data analytics services for StarHub clients. Account Servicing /Customer Support

Brief Job Description:

An individual with strong passion in real estate, the incumbent’s key duties are executing in full life cycle for project and development management functions for new developments and existing properties/ assets.

This role will also work closely with other functional departments within the corporate office and local offices on technical due diligence for refurbishment works and new developments (local and overseas), execution of project management duties, and develop project and construction related policies and procedures.

Job Description

• Manage various stages and all aspects of property and project management from inception to completion, including but not limited to feasibility study, planning, design and quality management, budget and cost control, contract management, tender and procurement, construction, post- construction, maintenance and enhancement Works. Develop and implement policies and practices for pre-contract, construction, and post-construction phases.
• Manage and collect data for project progress reporting and benchmarking.
• Manage the company and project filing system. Implement group-wide project and development management regime and documentation control.
• Preparation of contractual and tender documents for review, approval and submission.
• Organise, plan and set targets for construction activities, review construction requirements and methodology, optimise resource allocation and perform tender evaluation.
• Track project schedule and budget, conduct co-ordination meetings and site visits.
• Evaluate contractor claims, variations, delay and extension of time (EoT).
• Follow established qualitycontrol policies, processesand procedures.
• Coordinate and manage site team and project stakeholders (i.e., consultants, contractors, operators, suppliers, authorities, etc.) effectively to ensure that the project is completed in compliance with the specifications, quality standards, cost and time frame.
• Coordinate and manage project completion documents for approval and submission in compliance with the relevant regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Manage the projecthandover and defectsmanagement process.
• Conduct scheduled checks and inspections on ground to ensure properties / assets are well maintained and met the requirement of SOP/KPI.
• Review and recommend the appropriate replacement/ enhancement plans for properties / assets under management for maximizing profits and minimizing risks that align with the company’s business goals.
• Oversee Capital Expenditures such as proposal, budgeting, call / evaluate tenders and manage the implementation of projects.
• Responsible for budgetary controls without compromise the quality of end product.
• Manage and execute other duties and responsibilities from time to time that are assigned by the Head of Asset Planning and Development and/ or the Company.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by company from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Architectural, Quantity Surveyor, Mechanical & Electrical, Civil & Structural Engineering,
  Project Management, Real Estate or related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), MS Project, AutoCAD.
• Minimum of 5 years' professional experience with a high degree of technical competence in real estate development for lodging assets with ability to manage all design and technical due diligence and ownership/ operations issues that arise including structural, IT, building envelope, MEP, environmental, sustainability, vertical transportation, fire/life safety, development and redevelopment and reporting.
• Experience in market research, evaluation, finance and design feasibility studies of potentialland/ asset acquisitions will be a plus.
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to lead members of the project team to deliver outstanding product standards.
• Good communication, dynamic, self-motivated, proactive and result-oriented with a proven track record.
• Ability to travel occasionally to manage overseas projects.
• Overseas project experience is advantageous
• Prior experience with Real Estate Developer and/or Consultancy firms will be a bonus.

Make an Impact by:

• Manage the product and corresponding lifecycle of Singtel’s Managed Services portfolio including managed WAN and SD-WAN solutions.
