As the Assistant Manager for M&E, you will be part of the Mechanical, Electrical, Safety & Attractions (“MESA”) team that manages Jewel’s mechanical, electrical and attractions systems, as well as the overall fire safety and workplace safety & health. As a core member of MESA, you will:

• Manage the lift, escalator & travellator (LET) systems, attractions and/or other assigned M&E services and the related service providers/vendors, which includes administering the corresponding contracts, reviewing their performance, and ensuring services delivered to & exceed expectations.
• Seek continual improvement including but not limited to enhanced process/procedure formulation, recommendation for upgrading, life-cycle cost analysis, preparation of technical reports, tender specifications, procurement and necessary approvals, etc.
• Ensure all activities comply with approved work processes & instructions, safety procedures, quality controls and statutory Codes of Practice, among others.
• Liaise with the relevant authorities for annual (re)certifications, licenses to operate, submission of regulatory documents, etc.
• Support the associated budgeting, expenditure, and administration.
• Support both the mall & attractions operations, events and other ad-hoc projects.

Skills / Knowledge Required

• At least 5 years of experience in electrical/mechanical engineering or hard FM, preferably with strong technical knowledge of LET.
• Maintenance or operations management experience in a large retail, attractions, or mixed-use environment is a plus.
• A self-motivated, driven, analytical and a good team player, with proven ability to excel in a dynamic environment and perform under tight timeline.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills.

The Senior Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for maintaining day-to-day financial reporting and regulatory compliance needs of our business. The person will work closely with the company's cross-country team, while reporting to head of finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate month end closing and prepare monthly reports including monthly financial statements, cash flow statements and management reporting
• Ensure compliance of financial records and controls with corporate statutory, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of quarterly Singapore GST returns

The Junior Account Manager’s responsibilities include:

Duties and Responsibilities

 Undertake menu planning

 Oversee and participate in the preparation and cooking and serving of main meals, snacks, cakes, etc. in accordance with specified menus.

 Determine quantities to be cooked and size of portions to be served, taking into account diets to meet medical, ethnic and personal needs.

 Check quantity and quality of stock received and notify suppliers of deficiencies.

The dormitory supervisor resides in the program’s summer dormitory, monitors program participants in the evening and overnight, and provides supervision on program field trips. The dormitory supervisor also supervises the residential staff and program tutors, who are primarily undergraduate students, and serves as a liaison between the Upward Bound staff and staff from Boston University's Office of Residence Life and Office of Residential Safety. The dormitory supervisor also helps with delivering tutor training. The dormitory supervisor is responsible for enforcing program policies and, in conjunction with the Office of Residence Life, responding to medical and non-medical emergencies. The dormitory supervisor also coordinates evening tutorials and recreational activities for program participants. This is an eight week position which includes the week prior to and after the summer program. Housing is provided for seven weeks.

Completed a Bachelor’s degree; 2 years’ experience as a residence hall assistant; 1- 2 years’ experience working with high school age population; supervisory experience a plus; and satisfactory CORI check.

A bit about the role:

You will be a Senior Account Manager within a fast growing regional commercial team, responsible for driving growth with our existing partners in APAC. You’ll identify and execute growth opportunities across your partner portfolio, manage churn risk  and build relationships with key stakeholders. 

The role is based in our Singapore office, but you will also work closely with the Global Account Management and Customer Success teams based around the world.
