1. Ensuring alignment of development awards with the overall organizational objectives and equipping identified staff with the necessary skills to contribute effectively at organizational, group, and national levels.
2. Supporting the annual review of development awards for relevance and effectiveness, making recommendations for updates and changes as necessary, and ensuring timely communication of changes and information.
3. Assisting in the planning and execution of the annual awards cycle, which includes conducting briefings for institutional representatives, collating award nominations, performing preliminary reviews and assessments of incoming nominations, and preparing for awards review panel meetings.
4. Continuously reviewing and streamlining the awards nomination and administration processes to enhance efficiency.
5. Participating as a member of the organizing committee for the annual awards ceremony.
6. Undertaking ad-hoc projects related to Group Scholarships and Awards and Human Resources as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline in Human Resources.
2. Ideally, 1-3 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR development role; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
3. Prior experience in managing a scholarships and awards portfolio is advantageous but not mandatory.
4. Strong project management, planning, and prioritization skills.
5. Meticulous attention to detail.
6. Excellent command of spoken and written English.
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment

Working Hours: 8.30am to 5.45pm or 9.00am to 6.15pm

Basic Salary: S$2,800 to $3,200 per month

Entitled for 1-month AWS for every 12 continuous months of services

What’s the role?

You will work with the HR Manager in the following areas:

• Liaise with clients on their recruitment needs and conduct requirements gathering before commencing the end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Assist with offer and Contract management on Cost proposal
• On-Boarding process.
• Update new employee’s data into the HR Management System and Payroll processes.
• Monitor employee’s contract period and follow-up with employee’s manager on review of contract renewal and salary increase.
• Serve as the 1st point of contact for employee relations, addressing issues, resolving conflicts,
• Submit the new hires’ details to the company’s insurer for medical insurance coverage.
• Handle exit management processes of out-going (resignation or end-of-contract) employees.
• Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the HR Manager or General Manager.

What You Will Have:

• Diploma in HR Management, Business Administration / Management or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years HR experience as a generalist. However, matured and mid-career conversion candidates are welcome.
• Must have good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act as well as other labour laws.
• Must have strong computer literacy.
• Possess good customer service and strong relationship-building skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous, highly organized and a team player.
• Legal authorized to work in Singapore without work/employment visa sponsorship requirement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end operational activities of recruitment, preboarding and onboarding, performance management and training, employment changes and offboarding processes for Operations units.
• Assist employees with HR transactions such as payroll, benefits enrolment, and leave management.
• Ensure timely and accurate HR updates on workforce and employee data.
• Provide support and proactive follow-up on HR programs and processes.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations in Singapore.
