Main purpose of the job

As part of the Global Headquarters for Asahi Global Procurement, the HR Programs and Projects Lead will design, manage, and execute high-impact HR initiatives focused on Talent Management, Learning & Development (L&D), and Compensation & Benefits (C&B) in collaboration with Procurement leadership teams, regional HR team as well as Asahi Group HR. This role supports both the global business function (Asahi Global Procurement) and the global office, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall strategy and long-term objectives.

To succeed, the ideal candidate will have a very good understanding of HR strategies, practices and trend and ideally deeper expertise in one of the areas above. Other critical competencies are related to project management, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with across multiple cultures and geographies.

Accountabilities and deliverables

1. Project Leadership - Plan, structure, and implement HR projects using established project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches), adapting them to a global context. 2. 3. Stakeholder management - Align with senior stakeholders (e.g., executive leadership) by providing regular updates, status reports, and presentations to maintain visibility and support. Proactively identify and address stakeholder concerns, effectively managing expectations and fostering strong, productive relationships.

4. HR project and programs - Lead the design and implementation of talent initiatives, including succession planning, performance management, and leadership development, specifically tailored for Asahi Global Procurement. Partner with regional HR Business Partners to identify and nurture high-potential employees, creating development plans that support both individual growth and business needs. Track and analyze talent metrics to gauge the effectiveness of programs and recommend continuous improvements.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting - Track and assess the impact of global HR initiatives across Talent Management, L&D, and C&B, using both quantitative and qualitative data. Key Responsibilities:

1. Office Administration and Office Management:

• Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and take messages.
• Greet and register visitors professionally, maintain the visitors' log for ISO audits.
• Manage local and overseas courier arrangements, including handling the company letterbox.
• Manage digital name cards for all employees.
• Draft and manage internal admin communications, such as posters, emails, and announcements.
• Coordinate & schedule office maintenance and repairs, working with contractors and building management.
• Cooperate with building management on fire drills and activities.
• Monitor and replenish office supplies (stationery, pantry items, first aid box, etc.).
