RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides regulatory compliance and asset integrity advice to both the VP of Asset Management & Operations and all managers and staff, shore-bases and ongoing projects.
• Is a valued and contributing member of the management team, including the formulation and implementation of strategic objectives
• Supports the Company's mission and objectives to promote revenue, profitability, and growth.
• Establishes and maintains all facilities' Compliance procedures and standards.
• Focal point for all operational HSE, Operational Verification and Class related activities and coordinates support to the Operations Management offshore.
• Responsible for preservation of plant capability, asset integrity and reliability for all operations surface facilities.
• Co-ordinates integrity management of all operated assets ensuring management systems have risk-based inspection programs
• Co-ordinates the delivery of all Asset Integrity engineering support to the Operations Management offshore
• Liaises with Facility Operations and Shore Support personnel to assist with understanding, defining and quantifying process technical issues to enable precise and relevant problem definitions to be drafted
• Ensures an effective audit and review process is implemented and managed, including evaluation of the audit reports and provision of recommendations for identified deficiencies
• Provides Management of Change (MOC) support I services to all operating assets in accordance with Operations Management System
• Member of the Operations Onshore Emergency Response team
• Operates within the OPEX budget as dictated by dedicated cost centre
• Ensures that compliance to the company management systems is followed
• Ensures compliance with the Safety, Health and Environmental Management Systems for all
assets/facilities
• Develops, produces and controls all necessary technical documents and procedures
• Seeks continuous improvement in integrity management process through the implementation of best practice procedures, systems and programs.
• Responsible for supporting the introduction and implementation of quality management systems as well as verification and audit
• Responsible for asset wide operations and maintenance standard setting
• Ensures statutory and Company standards of health, safety, welfare and security are met within areas of own responsibility
REQUIREMENT
• Minimum qualification college/university degree
• 15 years' experience in Oil & Gas facilities offshore (or similar) in Operations or maintenance capacity 5 years of which in Compliance & Asset Integrity Management at a senior level
In-depth knowledge of Asset Integrity.
• Extensive knowledge of maintenance, integrity and compliance in varying roles on both fixed and floating installations.
• Demonstrable experience in the implementation and management of the Safety Case Process, Safety and Environmental and Quality Management Standards.
• Knowledge of facilities engineering, production engineering, maintenance engineering, marine operations and planning functions.
• In depth understanding of Legislation codes and standards applicable to the operation of offshore platforms.
• In depth understanding of Class Society rule sets.
• Development and implementation of risk-based Integrity Management strategies.
• Knowledge and understanding of hydrocarbon industry applicable NDT techniques and principles.
• Effective manager of key financial issues that impact overall operation functions and the business.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate skills in problem solving, team building, negotiation, total quality management, ingenuity and initiative.
• Must possess knowledge of business and operational planning processes.
