A Payroll Admin Executive (Junior) is responsible for supporting payroll processing and administrative tasks to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. This role involves data entry, verifying records, resolving payroll queries, and maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

• Assist in processing payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.

• Verify attendance, timesheets, and leave records to calculate accurate payments.

• Maintain and update employee payroll records in the system.

• Ensure all deductions (e.g., taxes, provident fund, insurance) are accurately applied.

• Stay updated on payroll regulations and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.

• Assist in preparing reports and filings for tax and statutory contributions.

Employee Support:

• Respond to payroll-related queries from employees promptly.

• Handle and resolve discrepancies or complaints related to pay.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare and distribute payslips, tax forms, and other payroll-related documents.

• Generate payroll reports for internal audits and management review.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities:

Posting of recruitment advertisements
Ensure and maintain good brand and communication consistency for all company materials and collaterals
Scheduling of interviews
Engagement with both internal and external stakeholders such as employees and vendors, etc
Manage office sundry purchases
Reports generation
Payroll administration
Work pass administration
Provide general administrative support as assigned
Requirements:

1 years experience and above is preferred
Good to have experience in construction industry or similar industry.
Possess a keen interest in human resources
Ability to work independently and with a team
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines
Self-motivated and resourceful with good multitasking and organisational ability

What you will be involved in:

Human Resource Interns will be involved in three main aspects of HR:

1. Recruitment

• Assist in job postings via the various online recruitment job portals
• Drafting of different types of contracts, such as Offer letter
• Arrange interviews for shortlisted candidates

2. Retraining

• Recommend the appropriate e-learning courses and/or classroom-based courses to our staff
• Follow up with each staff member’s feedback on his or her completed training
• Follow up with the staff’s performance after training with his or her reporting officer and recommend if the course should be continued for other staff

3. Retention

• Assist in the administration of staff benefits & schemes
• Learn about the different leave entitlements of each employee and link up with our Manpower’s regulations
• Assist in the accountability of the leave reports of all staff to facilitate monthly payroll processing
• Planning of company bonding, CSR and celebratory events
