JOB DESCRIPTION

As a vital member of the Group Human Resources team, the Executive will play a key role in supporting the Group Development Awards portfolio under the guidance of the Manager, Group Scholarships and Awards. The responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring alignment of development awards with the overall organizational objectives and equipping identified staff with the necessary skills to contribute effectively at organizational, group, and national levels.
2. Supporting the annual review of development awards for relevance and effectiveness, making recommendations for updates and changes as necessary, and ensuring timely communication of changes and information.
3. Assisting in the planning and execution of the annual awards cycle, which includes conducting briefings for institutional representatives, collating award nominations, performing preliminary reviews and assessments of incoming nominations, and preparing for awards review panel meetings.
4. Continuously reviewing and streamlining the awards nomination and administration processes to enhance efficiency.
5. Participating as a member of the organizing committee for the annual awards ceremony.
6. Undertaking ad-hoc projects related to Group Scholarships and Awards and Human Resources as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline in Human Resources.
2. Ideally, 1-3 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR development role; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
3. Prior experience in managing a scholarships and awards portfolio is advantageous but not mandatory.
4. Strong project management, planning, and prioritization skills.

What’s the role?

You will work with the HR Manager in the following areas:

• Liaise with clients on their recruitment needs and conduct requirements gathering before commencing the end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Assist with offer and Contract management on Cost proposal
• On-Boarding process.
• Update new employee’s data into the HR Management System and Payroll processes.

We are looking for a HR Executive to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment life cycle, from sourcing to onboarding. You’ll collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop effective strategies to attract top talent.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates across various roles and levels
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies
• Source active and passive candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
• Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidates’ fit for the role and organization
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a seamless experience for all parties
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment data
• Develop and maintain relationships with universities, recruitment agencies, and other talent networks to promote the company’s employer brand
• Stay updated on trends and best practices in talent acquisition to continuously improve our recruitment processes

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Prior experience in full-cycle recruiting and talent sourcing techniques would be a plus
• Keen to learn and passion for recruitment or HR
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with social media recruiting and other innovative sourcing techniques
• Able to start immediately would be a plus.
