about the role
This role involves consolidating financial data from multiple business units and markets to produce accurate and comprehensive financial reports, developing and maintaining financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning and decision-making, and investigating errors or discrepancies in financial results in collaboration with the Global Finance team. The ideal candidate will conduct detailed profitability analyses, prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries, perform variance analysis, and provide insightful recommendations to improve financial performance. Additionally, the role includes assisting in the preparation of presentations for executive management and board meetings, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal control policies, driving process improvements within the FP&A function, and supporting new system implementations. The candidate will also support senior management with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects.
skills and experience required
You should ideally possess an accounting and finance degree with at least 3 years of experience in FP&A. This role is analytical number crunching is involved but you have to do commentary as well. You have to be able to communicate effectively to partner with stakeholders. This role is 5 days wio and there will be company transport provided to the office and back. The government has implemented hybrid working arrangement regulations at the end of the year and this company has recognised this new mandate as well.
