Summary:

The HR Executive is responsible for handling the administration of day-to-day HR duties and operations in the Southeast Asia and Pacific region. He/She is responsible in supporting the Regional HR Manager on compensation and benefits, recruiting, training and employee engagement activities.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate HR database and up-to-date employees' records for monthly manpower reporting and analysis.
• Prepare letters of employment and amendments
• Update and follow employees leave balance
• Perform on-boarding and off-boarding administrative tasks for employees
• Handle work pass application/renewal/ appeal/ cancellation and updates in personal particulars/employment details, and address of foreign workers via MOM portal
• Submission of government-paid claims such as NS claim, Maternity Leave, Childcare Leave, training grants
• Payroll administration for SEAP subsidiaries with external payroll service provider
• Prepare data for employee annual income reporting to IRAS and/or IR21 filling
• Support internal & external audit on payroll queries
• Source competitive quotes and maintain group insurance coverage (Term Life/Accidental/Health/Travel/Motor/Workmen Comp).
• Assist in recruitment processes (eg. posting of opening positions on job portals, screening of resumes, scheduling interviews, preparation and facilitating onboarding of new hires)
• Follow up with candidates on documents before and after interviews
• Send rejection emails for unsuccessful candidates
• Provide support for career fairs and outreach activities
• Manage and co-ordinate all training activities including enrolment, payment request, disseminate course confirmation, participant's training evaluation, updating training records, etc.
• Answer employees’ questions in accordance with the Group HR policy
• Support in staff welfare events organization (Singapore only)
• Arrange for employee gifts such as newborn baby hamper, get well hamper, wedding gift and condolence wreath
• Support any new initiatives or projects by the department
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in HR or other business-related fields
• Possess a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant HR experience human resources/administrative positions.
• Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality with passion to learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Good interpersonal skills and an effective team player with the ability to interact with different level of employees
• Meticulous particularly to pay attention to details and possesses excellent organizational skills
• Payroll software – basic knowledge of HR regulations.
