Requirements:

• Proven experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies and a related certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is highly desirable.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Berita Harian (BH) also provides a platform for the Malay community to voice their views on issues that concern them. As an Editorial Project Manager, you will be required to help coordinate projects, track expenses, ensure compliance and report KPIs as directed. You will manage Berita Harian’s campaigns and partnerships which are revenue-generating as well as projects funded by government agencies and other stakeholders.

While reporting to the News Editor, you will also be required to work closely with Berita Harian's Audience and Growth team to develop and coordinate Berita Harian’s annual activity calendar. You will also be required to manage and coordinate BH’s internal communications and programmes such as the internal news comm awards.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure flawless execution of projects
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and create detailed reports as required, to ensure comprehensive project documentation
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

Job Requirements

• Minimum degree in Journalism, Media Management, Business Management or equivalent from a recognised institution
