Job Descriptions:

• Handle operation for import or export shipment and prepare necessary documentations Monitor
• shipment and ensure receipt of shipping documents
• Liaising with Shipping line/forwarder - booking of containers, checking of vessel schedule
• Data entry using in house system.
• Coordinate with transporters for trucking of containers
• Submission of Inward list to barge operator for Portnet declaration.

• Submission of Loading Confirmation reports to shipping liners/freight forwarders
• VGM (Verified Gross Mass) - Submission to shipping liner’s online platform
• Apply and process permit using Trade net/Tradeweb
• Issue work order to external and internal contractors
• Verify billings from shipping line and contractor invoice
• Handle any other ad-hoc / administrative duties

Responsibilities

Job Scope:

• To attend / carry out various types of survey on board ship and sites on cargo, cargo measuring equipment and marine related activities.
• To perform marine survey onboard vessels and cargo inspection on sites in order to assess and report on their condition for insurance claim.
• To verify the equipment onboard vessel to ensure compliance with various standards or specifications.

Requirement:

• Nitec/ITE related in marine or Diploma in Nautical, Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering or Marine related from a local polytechnic/private institution.
• Experience onboard vessel will be an advantage.
• Prepare to work at irregular hours including Public Holidays due to ship schedule.
• Opportunity to travel overseas upon satisfactorily performance and skill.
• Successful candidate will be on six months' probation.
