Job Description

• Assist in the scale-up and transition of Virtual Credit Card solution to remaining research institutes
• Liaise with bank and internal stakeholders on preparatory work required for the onboarding of research institutes to adopt the Virtual Credit Card solution.

Job Description:

• Full Spectrum HR Work duties and administrative support role and advisor to manager in charge
• Work with line managers on manpower requirements, employee relations issues, compensation and benefits matter, HR initiatives, and other HR matters;
• Administration of workmen compensation, MOM reporting, insurance claim, etc;
• Ensure that HR policies and practices are in compliance with prevailing statutory regulations;
• Identify training and development needs of employees and propose training programs;
• Work pass applications, renewals and cancellation;
• Ensure timely update of employees’ database, proper filing system and smooth office administration;
• Process payroll on a timely basis such as computation of monthly salaries and deductions;
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree holder in Human Resources Management or HR related is preferred;
• Preferably 3 years in relevant HR administration role; HR policy planning; HR full spectrum
• Well versed with Singapore Employment Act and labor legislation;
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with key decision makers and various levels of employees;
• Working experience with InfoTech or any HRMS systems;
• Knowledge of payroll, CPF, IRAS, government related latest updates
• Organized and able to take stress
• Prior Construction Background will be preferred

Working days & Hours:

This is a 2 days per week part time position

• Any 2 days in office 10am - 6pm (can accomodate flexible arrangements)

Job Scopes:

HR:

1. Coordinate recruitment process (ie online job posting, work with recruiters, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinate interviews etc)
2. Coordinate all personnel onboarding and offboarding matters
3. General HR administrative tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping of employees and Company assets
4. Handle the administration of insurance policies, claims, benefits, allowances and incentives
5. Perform MOM work permit/pass applications, renewal, and cancellation
6. Organise Company's cohesion and welfare events
7. Organize and coordinate travel plans for staff
8. Facilitiate performance and probation reviews

Admin:

1. Administer Government Supports and Grants application
2. Manage Company's office and assets (ie Access, upkeep, distribute and account for IT assets, incoming mails, liaising with vendors and building management etc)
3. Ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience in a HR role
• Able to write and converse well in English
• Experience in XERO software preferred

Workplace Safety Management

• Spearhead the establishment and maintenance of Safety & Health Management Systems (SHMS) on-site
• Implement and uphold project and corporate SHMS protocols
• Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace and process-related risks
• Propose and enforce safe work procedures
• Enhance workplace safety performance through strategic measures
• Ensure adherence to Company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and standards
• Ensure compliance with Statutory Requirements under MOM and NEA
• Contribute actively to the corporate EHS Committee
• Conduct in-house safety training sessions
• Develop and execute EHS plans, trainings, meetings, and promotional activities
• Conduct routine workplace inspections to identify and address hazards and risks promptly
• Enforce EHS / OSH regulations at the workplace
• Serve as secretary for the WSH Committee and preside in the absence of the chairman
• Investigate, manage, report, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders on accidents or EHS non-compliance incidents
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by superiors

Project Budget Control

• Implement effective safety provisions to minimize re-work
• Aim for ZERO accident rates
• Prepare safety cost budgets for approval

Technical Understanding

• Proficient in the Workplace Safety & Health Act and other regulatory requirements
• Ability to provide practical safety solutions

Other Responsibilities (Organization)

People Development

• Disseminate safety knowledge to all safety personnel
• Foster a strong safety culture across all levels

Internal Operations

• Report any site non-conformance to the immediate supervisor
• Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure robust Health and Safety protocols on-site
• Uphold and adhere to standard policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Must possess WSHO license and familiarity with safety audits
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the local Building and Construction industry
• Completion of a full cycle of HDB BTO project is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and a positive working attitude
