RTO RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist QPs, Client on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and client's requirements.

· Work closely with QP(Str), QP(Arch), Client's Project Manager, EHS and other key project stakeholders, regulatory authorities and contractors to provide planning, monitoring, supervision, reporting and communicating/ escalating site non-compliance, quality, unsafe and potential delay.

· Assist to implement and sustain the site supervision quality & safety assurance system.

· Carry out supervision of structural, civil and building works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site.

· Understand drawings & contract documents in carrying out the works.

· Carry out regular site checks on contractor works & ensure compliance with technical requirements and health and work safety in accordance with MOM regulation.

· Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as built submissions etc., are well managed. Weekly site progress report, including activities, tracking against schedule and list of non-compliance etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Diploma in C&S Engineering from an institute accredited by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore

· Must be accredited as a Resident Technical Officer with BCA/IES/ACES

· Minimum 5 years of C&S and architectural work experience in supervision of industrial development with good knowledge of structural and building works, precast structures, structural steel, post-tensioned and local construction practices.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.

· Good supervisory skills.

· Good team player.

• Handle enquiries and public feedback pertaining to the project site activities & environment
• Possess the skill, knowledge and ability to manage public relation issues and general project queries with the resident effectively
• Ensuring good report and maintaining positive relations with the residents to work closely with the relevant parties, such as residents, consultants and authorities etc. and take proactive measures in mitigating complaints arising from the construction activities
• Conduct regular visits to residents/tenants affected by the works to gather feedback and keep them posted of work schedule changes
