Responsibilities:

• Issuing, sending of PO via email and keep track of PO for procurement activities.
• Liaising with store to monitor stock inventories required by Operations Unit is in place to avoid any potential material shortage
• Liaising with plant for their requirements.
• Maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory
• Liaising/correspondence with suppliers to schedule deliveries or to discuss shortages or missed deliveries
• Continuously sourcing of parts/materials as and when required
• Performing Goods received and updating of system
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other necessary data
• Co-ordinating with forwarder for preparing of documents/permit for incoming shipment clearance
• Continuously liaising with Sales and other departments for their new requirement of material/parts
• To negotiable and obtain best price quotes from suppliers based on various PR request within the company
• Deals with defective goods damaged goods as and when required
• Performing monthly stock take
• General Admin Duties
• Any other ad hoc jobs assigned

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in procurement.
• At least diploma or degree in purchasing or equivalent.

Shipping Coordinator (Freight Forwarding)

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the shipping and receiving of goods, including scheduling pick-ups and deliveries with transportation providers, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of products
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and records, including House bill of lading, Master bill of lading, declare export or import permit, submit shipping documents to co-loader or carrier, send pre-alert to destination agent and complete billing and job files closing.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve shipping-related issues, such as missing or damaged products
• Negotiate shipping rates and service levels with transportation providers, and manage relationships with these providers to ensure high-quality service
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs and export/import requirements
• Participate in the development and implementation of logistics and shipping policies and procedures

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in shipping and logistics, including experience coordinating the shipping and receiving of goods
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs, and export/import requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
