The Opportunity

Our Client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Procurement Officer to join their team on a 1-year contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process and inventory control for their plant and logistics operations in the West Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Disseminate and enforce company policies and procurement procedures to user departments
• Assist Head of Section with procurement activities for new projects
• Manage and oversee purchase orders and contracts for all plants
• Ensure all purchases and contracts follow company procurement policies
• Collaborate with other departments on tender and contract activities
• Ensure proper contract execution and compliance with SOX requirements
• Follow up on contractual requirements and provisions with vendors
• Monitor overdue reports for contracts, purchase orders, insurances, and security deposits, sending reminders to departments
• Manage vendor master data in SAP MM and SAP B1 (vendor creation and qualification)
• Conduct vendor performance reviews annually and after contract completion
• Oversee tender sales

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a procurement, contract tendering and administrative
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimise procurement processes and inventory management
• A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach to work

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and assess scam related cases from Contact Centre to identify, liaise and resolve customer issues completely and promptly.
• Ensure validity of each case escalated prior to escalating out to Fraud Support Team, Business Unit, Servicing Units and ensure quality of servicing is maintained.
• Liaises with other business owners and stakeholders for acknowledgement, follow-up on any actions and feedback requested by customers through Fraud Support Team is carried out efficiently and within timeline
• Observe all follow-up within internal and external parties to resolve requests/feedback promptly within the established service turnaround time.
• Ensures respective business owners acknowledge escalation requests and resolves the customers’ requests promptly within the established service turnaround time.
