Job Description:

As Wiseasy is growing its business internationally, we are looking for an HR/Talent Acquisition (TA) Intern to join the team. You will get to learn more about full-cycle recruitment and how to find Unicorn talents through various search techniques.

• Assist the TA Manager in projects related to talent mapping, TA process improvement, operational recruitment activities, and conducting market research.
• Assist in posting jobs and shortlisting candidates and potentially sourcing for candidates.
• Scheduling interviews and coordinating with internal and external candidates across regions.
• Other ad-hoc HR duties.

Job Requirements:

• Undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Polytechnic student pursuing a Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
• Able to commit to a duration of at least 3 to 6 months. (The preferred internship period is from Jan to Jun 2024 or Jun to Dec 2024)
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle sensitive matters/situations and have strong time management skills.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PPT
• Previous relevant internship experience would be a bonus.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment

• Specialised in end-to-end recruitment functions which include from onboarding (job postings, screening, shortlisting and interviewing candidates, reference checking, and making salary proposal and job offers) to separations
• Analysing and monitoring the resourcing needs, headcounts approvals, budget, preparation of key manpower indexes for management reporting
• Updating of monthly organisation chart
• Partner recruitment agencies on hiring needs
• Support expats entry and onboarding processes
• Handle work pass application, renewal, and issuance
• Attend to all transfer requests and also provide input for mandatory surveys
• Efficiently use different recruitment tactics such as recruitment platforms, career website, social media, job boards, headhunting and Linkedin and employee referral to attract talents
• Work closely with schools on internship, sponsorship and graduate recruitment
• Participate in Career Fair, Internship and any other recruitment projects

Business Partner

• Business partner with the respective department to provide value-added HR support and relevant advice pertaining to HR issues and provide support to various key HR initiatives and drive staff engagement programmes
• Work closely with line manager on annual performance review, design of training roadmap, employee engagement activities, recruitment and any other HR matters to drive attraction, retention and engagement
• Communicate effectively any HR-related policies changes and updates to all staff in the business units assigned
• Perform any other duties as assigned and requested by Manager.

Requirement:

• Possess at least a Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources
• At least 8 year experience in recruitment and business partnering
• Preferably with supervisory experience
• Experience in using HRMS (Prosoft preferred)
• Strong comprehension and communication skills, both written and spoken to interface with all levels of people internally and externally

Reporting to the Easy Buying Manager & Team Leader, you will help to build and retain a long-lasting relationship with new and existing customers in a multichannel retail environment by valuing and fulfilling customer needs and expectations, thereby stimulating more and more frequent visits. You will also support in ensuring that customers’ issues are handled efficiently and with empathy.

Your assignment

• To provide resolutions towards customer enquiries and complaints by processing exchange and returns claims, refunds, IKEA Family Member Card issues, home delivery and other related customers enquiries
• Manage enquiries from both walk in and phone in IKEA customers and provide service recovery
• Provide customer recovery support, such as working with sales and logistics team to resolve out of stocks cases and manage cash on delivery cases, etc
• Ensure the correct orders are handed over to customers at the merchandise pick-up point
• Support in back-office duties such as oversold cases, issues with transport provider billings and open customer cases logged in Customer relations management system
• Understanding and implementing the department policies and procedures to ensure safety and security compliance and to provide customers a positive shopping experience
• Support the team through knowledge sharing, as well as become multi-skilled to support other functions within the Customer Relations Department

Your profile

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in a fast-paced customer service / retail/ hospitality industry
• Has the ability to take initiative and possess a strong sense of responsibility
