Channel Sales Representative for Southeast Asia

Position Overview

We are a leading chemical reagent sales company looking for a proactive and experienced Channel Sales Representative to manage and expand our distributor network in the Southeast Asia region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with existing distributors, identifying potential new partners, and driving channel sales growth across the region. This role requires a deep understanding of the distribution model and the ability to work closely with partners to achieve mutual sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute a channel sales strategy to meet and exceed sales targets in the Southeast Asia region.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors, ensuring they are well-supported and equipped to sell our products.
3. Identify, evaluate, and onboard new distributors to expand our market reach.
4. Provide training and support to distributors on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies.
5. Collaborate with distributors to create and implement joint marketing and sales initiatives.
6. Monitor distributor performance, providing feedback and guidance to optimize sales results.
7. Negotiate contracts and agreements with distributors to ensure mutual benefits.
8. Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
9. Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to the management team.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in channel sales, preferably within the chemical or related industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of the distribution model and experience managing distributor relationships.
4. Strong understanding of the Southeast Asia market and regional business practices.

Job Description

• Responsible for all aspects of HR including recruitment, employee benefits, performance management, training, and payroll.

• Monitor due dates for renewal, termination of contracts and other follow-up actions.
• Facilities, leasing and landlord management, including feedback on general property management and coordination between all parties.
• Oversee other logistical matters such as transportation, telecommunications, mail/courier services, conference accommodations, off-site storage, and asset management.

Job Requirement

• At least 3 years of experience in HR and admin.
• Experience in retail industry preferred.
• Comprehensive HR knowledge, especially practical experience in employee relations, recruitment, performance management and employee development.
• Experience working in Japanese companies preferred.
