Job Description:

• Full in charge of Machine assembly
• Handling Electrical panel wiring and machine cable routing
• Perform machine testings
• On-site installation & commissioning
• Marine Engines, Generator Sets maintenance, servicing & troubleshooting
• Updating progress of given tasks to department head
• Ensure given tasks complete within given timeline
• Liaising with suppliers, contractors and customers on site installation job
• Documentations as per ISO and Bizsafe standards
• Maintain workshop cleanliness after daily job

Requirements

• ITE or Diploma in mechanical / electrical / mechatronics engineering
• Trained and / or experienced in Marine Engines or Generator Sets.
• Relevant experience in mechanical engineering industry

General

• Support Head of Engineering in training and developing the engineers on technical matters, including handling and operating all broadcast equipment.
• Assist with engineering technical tasks to ensure smooth running of daily engineering operations.
• Establish an SOP for Site Survey and prepare Production and Technical Integration Layout Plan. To review and make relevant updates as required for process improvement.
• Implement design and make permanent layout for racks along with serialnumbers and standard placing of panels.
• Support Head of Engineering to improve and test system designs.Support process of racks and kit standardization.
• Collaborate with Head of Engineering to establish a process for equipment testing and preparation.
• To review and make relevant updates on a yearly basis for process improvement.
• Ensure a process is in place for communication/escalation of technical problems on all projects.
• Research technical development standards for present and new technologies.
• Provide technical support of the company's service to clients
• Design the project template to cover the tasks needed for each project
• Keep the project task updated for each project on hand.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Electrical / Communication / Broadcast Engineering or similar related field.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• An expert in equipment and products used in broadcasting; for example, audio and vision mixers, radio communication products, cameras, and camera lens
• Experienced in technical training for knowledge transfer

Job scopes:

• To meet and greet visitors, lead them to appropriate room and do welcome script (covering use of meeting room system, restrooms, fire exits, etc)
• To attend enquires from staff/ courier services and receiving mails (recording & send email reminders)
• To offer the management staff / external guests the choice of beverages available and assist to serve / arrange staff to serve accordingly.
• To check on meeting room set up standards, floral arrangements, and report facility faults
• To provide accurate directions on meeting venues and office locations of various units (must know all facilities, locations, and operating hours)
• To have a list of amenities and facilities in the neighbouring area of CBD including operating hours, telephone numbers, etc
• To assist in the booking of executive meeting rooms
• To provide taxi booking services
• To have emergency guest amenities such as sewing kit, first aid kit, stationery, umbrellas
• To receive feedback from guests or staff on facilities and services
• To assist in overseeing events or VIP meetings at executive conference suite
• To coordinate and manage vendors / caterers onsite providing services to the VIP / executive events
• To assist managing rooms and submit reports on weekly release
• To assist in handling common & executive meeting room enquiries by phone / email / Teams
• To manage common meeting room bookings:

a. To call meeting room user 15 minutes prior to booked period to reconfirm
b. To call meeting room user for rooms left unused 15 minutes after booked period and update the system if no-show, followed by email to remind user on guidelines
c. To send reminders email to users
d. To oversee reconfiguration of meeting room set up
e. To prepare weekly schedules for stewardesses / technicians

Requirements:

• Minimally GCE ‘O’ Level
• Computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Words
• With working experience as customer service executive is a plus
