Position title: Warehouse Supervisor
Location:Bukit Merah
Working days: 5 days [ Mon - Fri ]
Working hours: 8:30am - 6pm
Salary : SGD $2,700 - $3,400

Job Description

• The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse,
• ensuring that all processes are efficient, and that materials and products are handled according to
• GMP standards. This role involves supervising a small team of 2 warehouse assistants, maintaining stock accuracy, and coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments while upholding safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations Management:

• Supervise and manage daily warehouse activities, including goods receiving, storage, and dispatch.
• Lead and manage a team of 1 to 2 warehouse assistants to achieve daily operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Oversee the cleanliness of level 2, 4, and 5 warehouses, ensuring proper housekeeping standards.

Inventory Control & Documentation:

• Conduct Goods Received Notes (GRN) for all incoming materials.
• Organize and allocate stocks and materials in the correct storage areas
• Generate and paste QC-approved labels on all approved materials.
• Prepare Delivery Orders (DO) and packing lists for outgoing products, ensuring proper packaging standards are followed to avoid damage during transit.
• Monitor inventory levels and alert management when a new Purchase Order (PO) needs to beraised.
• Lead periodic stock counting, adjusting stock records as needed after approval from the Production Manager.
• Manage stock transfers among warehouses as well as internal departments and coordinate with subcontractors for rework materials.

Team Training & Development:

• Provide GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and in-house training to warehouse assistants, ensuring team members adhere to company standards and support team members in achieving daily and long-term operational objectives.
• Suggest and implement improvements to warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor and support in disposal, waste segregation and waste management activities as per NEA requirements.

Stock Monitoring & Reporting:

• Monitor inventory for missing or lost items and report any discrepancies to management promptly.
• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products and materials, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Generate product labels as per customer requirements and ensure correct labelling for outgoing shipments.

Requirements

• Minimum 'O' Level or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Knowledge of GMP and warehouse safety protocols.
• Proficient in warehouse documentation and processes, familiar with inventory management and stock control systems.
• Knowledge of SAP system will be an advantage
• Must have a valid forklift license.

Overall responsible in executing the core HR functions of Talent Acquisition, Policies and Procedures, Internship, Learning and Development, Strategic Compensation and Performance Appraisal, Staff Welfare, EHS (environment, health, safety, and corporate social responsibility and HR administration. 5. HR Administration:
   • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.
   • Prepare and issue employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR-related documents.
   • Process leave requests, employee benefits, and payroll information.
   • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
   • Manage employee attendance, overtime, and leave records.
6. Policy Implementation:
   • Ensure HR policies and procedures are communicated and implemented effectively.
   • Update and maintain the employee handbook and ensure all policies are aligned with legal requirements.
7. Compensation and Benefits:
   • Support the HR Manager in administering employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other incentives.
   • Assist in reviewing salary structures and conducting compensation analysis.
8. HR Analytics and Reporting:
   • Generate HR reports on key metrics like headcount, turnover, absenteeism, etc.
   • Contribute to HR strategy by providing data-driven insights.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an HR generalist or officer role.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of HR processes and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software (Payboy)
• Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
• Experience in employee engagement and performance management initiatives.
• Familiarity with payroll administration.

* Manage the full set of accounts, include reviewing and posting of all journal entries

* Ensure that Account Receivable/Payables Sub Ledgers to General Ledger and the bank accounts to the bank statements are reconciled
