The Director for Monetization & Partner strategy, APAC, will play a critical role in maximizing the value of used or second-hand phones and laptops across new and existing programs across APAC, including Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Taiwan. These programs include various product offerings, such as device protection, trade-ins, and upgrades.

This role will be responsible for designing, building, and executing Second-Life strategies suitable to each Geo (Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Taiwan) to purchase and liquidate used or second-hand devices (mobile phones and laptops) across multiple channels, including online marketplaces, refurbishment and resale platforms, direct-to-consumer, auction sites, wholesale distribution, and Recycling/Refurbishment Programs and will drive profitability by identifying, negotiating, and managing partnerships with various stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure efficient disposal of handsets and laptops and optimize revenue from device re-sales, liquidation, and/or refurbishments.

What are the key responsibilities?

• Channel Diversification: Identify, establish, and explore partnerships with critical sales channels, including online marketplaces, retail, auction sites, panel of buyers, and direct-to-consumer outlets, to liquidate used phones or laptops.

· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Reports to Senior Manager (Shared Services) & Manager (Shared Services)
• Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units especially HR & Finance.
• Attend (both monthly and ad-hoc) site meetings and contribute to resolving site matters.
• Consults with Project stakeholders, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of MOM requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to HR & Finance team(e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
• Provides guidance and input on workforce planning.

Education and Experience:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Total Reward Business Partner (TRBP) to join our global Yum! Total Rewards team supporting KFC and Pizza Hut. As the TRBP, you will serve as the reward liaison and global quarterback for both brands. While reporting directly to Yum!, the role will be highly integrated into the Brand HR teams. This role requires a strong performer with a passion for consulting, know-how building, and driving global processes & key initiatives for the Brand.

• Reward Liaison & Global Reward Project Quarterback: Act as the primary point of contact for Total Rewards at KFC & Pizza Hut, and act as the global quarterback for Total Reward projects. Role will keep a high-level pulse on the talent & TR landscape within the brands and business units. Position would be closely partnered with cross-functional brand teams and other TR COE pillars (Executive Compensation, Design, & Delivery).
• Key Global TR Process Owner: Owner of key reward processes & alignment for their Brands (such as global year-end performance & reward process). Oversight of process execution through TR Analyst in the US.
• Consulting: Integration into Global Brand & US-based talent teams, providing Reward consulting and know-how building on Yum! Rewards strategies, programs, processes, and systems. Consulting will be primarily compensation focused and U.S. centered, but position will be the direct consulting contact for all Global BMU CPOs.
• Leveling & Offers: Global comp recommendations for Directors & above, partnering with Executive Compensation. Oversight of all US leveling & offers through TR Analyst.
• Program Input & Rollout Support: Provides input into new US and global Reward programs, processes, toolkits, frameworks, and systems. Support in leading reward rollouts.
• Training & Communication: Adapt and deliver TR training, education, and communication, primarily within the US but some global delivery to Non-US HR partners.
• Leadership of TR Analyst: Provide leadership and guidance to the TR Analyst, who is primarily responsible for compensation delivery excellence in the US.
