Roles & Responsibilities

Engagement & Enrolment:

Handle walk-in inquiries, attend outreach sessions, and manage participant onboarding for Gymtonic programs.

Training & Supervision:

Lead and supervise Gymtonic training sessions, ensuring safe use of gym equipment and providing ongoing support to participants.

Assessment & Support:

Conduct pre- and post-assessments to track participant progress and provide support during sessions to ensure safety and well-being.

Daily Operations & Safety:

Oversee the gym's daily operations, ensuring a safe environment and adherence to safety protocols.

Community Building & Outreach:

Plan and organize physical activities for seniors, collaborate with local partners, and create an inclusive, supportive community environment.

Collaboration:

Work closely with colleagues across different programs to coordinate activities and share resources.

Administration:

Maintain accurate participant records, manage session logs, and handle administrative tasks such as data collection and report preparation.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum diploma requirement, preferably in Sports & Exercise Science, Sports & Health, or Integrated Community Care.
• Passionate about working with seniors and caregivers in a community setting.
• Prior experience in working with seniors or in the social service sector is preferred.
• Basic understanding of exercise principles and anatomy is advantageous.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Motivational and interpersonal skills to inspire and engage gym members.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Attention to detail in administrative tasks and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); fluency in a mother tongue language or dialect(s) is a plus.
