MyRepublic Group is looking for an Office cum Admin Assistant, who will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our reception and office administration.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Engagement and Experience:

• Scheduling of employee forums; monthly team calls, Townhall, new joiner lunches etc across the company
• Arrangements for sponsored office lunches; training, etc.,.
• Coordination of employee engagement events: team building, family days, giving back days, wellbeing activities, employee appreciation and competitions
• Assistance with the scheduling of learning and training. Support with vendors, equipment, post event follow up and tracking.

Office Management:

• Responsible for requisition of office supplies (stationery and pantry item)
• Prepare purchasing requisition and purchasing order (PR PO)
• Coordinate maintenance of office equipment and facilities
• Keep track of all purchases and within budget
• Liaise with vendors and cleaners.
• Ensure meeting rooms are neat, tidy and presentable and in tip-top condition at all times.

Reception Responsibilities:

• Receive and welcome guests.
• Handle all incoming calls, incoming and out-going mails, couriers (both local and international).
• Handle daily visiting dispatch and arranging interview appointment.
• Always maintain professional image of self and office.
• Assist with the coordination of social and recreational activities hosted by the HR team to promote the wellbeing of all employees.
• Participate and lead companywide office/ HR initiatives.
• Provide confidential ad-hoc support to HR team.

HR support (will be trained if no experience):

• Assist with work pass application, renewal, cancellation, appealing, expiration, follow up with medical check-ups, updating personal particulars to MOM, visa application etc.
• Processing and timely submission of Form IR21, NS make-up claims and all government paid leave claims.
• Administer employee benefits such as leaves, medical, dental, insurance etc.

Job Description

• Lead and manage a team of 18 pax to support Set Design and Staging activities for all Mediacorp’s productions.
• Plan and assign manpower, external resources, manage overall budget, timeline and deliverables.
• Provide guidance and advice to the team to achieve a the production requirement.
• Work with Props Store in maintaining and managing the inventory and processes
• Work closely with Props Resource team in securing suppliers on the Props items.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of related work experience with relevant working knowledge of Set Design, Stage Design, Space Design, Interior, Landscape, Event, Exhibition, or Product Design, or 5 years of experience in project management in performing art and media industry, e.g. drama, movie, or theatre productions.
• Diploma/Degree in relevant discipline is preferred.
• Collaborative and a team player with strong communication skills.
• Effective time and stress management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Hadoop Admin (Database Administrator)

• Experience in managing large hadoop cluster with Cloudera CDH and CDP.

• Experience in plan and execution of major and minor upgrades of Cloudera CDH and CDP.

• Experience in administering various services within CDP including adding/deleting of nodes, supporting hardware replacements.

• Experience in performing POC for open-source applications and tools.

• Experience in performance tuning of various hadoop services and support end users in tuning application codes.

• Backup and restore of various service components of hadoop cluster.

• Certification in Cloudera CDH/CDP.

Job Description

• Constantly keep abreast of the latest market trends, provide creative, aesthetic and practical recommendations for program production.
• Engage production units to understand resource requirements, plan and map out the resources in consideration of constraints in resources, and ensure success of all productions.
• Guiding the image stylist team to achieve a specific look/effect as required by the production team. Able to provide creative advice and offer alternative solutions.
• Guiding the team towards common goals and come up with procedures / SOPs for better efficiency and productive, stay compliant with financial process and various documentations.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and cataloguing of items to support smooth productions and continuity of productions.
• Oversee the team members in securing sponsors, liaison with suppliers on the costumes & accessories, adhering to the SOP and compliance on the purchases.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design /Merchandising.
• At least 12 Years of relevant work experience, of which 2 years must be in a Supervisory role.
• Possess in-depth working knowledge of Image, Costume, Makeup, Hairstyle.

Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Palm Resort, targeting key markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, to achieve revenue targets
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and analysis of hospitality industry in Johor Bahru
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
• Work closely with residential marketing agencies and JV partner to establish the selling price of each room types leading to the launch of the residential project

2. Marketing Strategy

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and attract potential customers
• Utilise digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and content creation, to promote Palm Resort in Johor Bahru, as well as the Pine Grove residential project along Ulu Pandan
• Collaborate with the marketing team of JV partner to create compelling promotional materials and content for Pine Grove residential project
• Involved in the preparation and development of the show gallery for the Pine Grove residential project
• Work closely with residential marketing agencies and JV partner to develop sound marketing plan leading to the launch of the residential project

3. Market Research and Insights

• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
• Conduct regular market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes

4. Collaboration

• Work closely with other departments, including operations and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience for Palm Resort
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales and marketing efforts with overall business objectives for Palm Resort
• Work closely with JV partners on the sales and marketing efforts for the Pine Grove residential project

5. Reporting and Analytics

• Prepare regular reports on sales and marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
• Analyse key metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly
• Analyse consumer preferences and demographic data to tailor marketing strategies for non-landed residential project accordingly
