Role Overview:

Our client is currently looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager at a Japanese Trading company.

Location: West Area (They have a company bus from Jurong East MRT)

Position: Assistant Warehouse Manager ( Japanese Speaking )

Key Responsibilities:

・Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations

・Implement and manage operational policies and procedures

・Plan and oversee security operations to ensure safety and compliance

・Ensure the effective and safe use of warehouse equipment

・Promote and maintain staff safety practices

・Motivate, supervise, and discipline staff as needed

・Maintain accurate documentation and records of warehouse activities

・Act as the company’s safety officer to uphold workplace safety standards

・Assist with deliveries when required

・Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

・Minimum 3 years of experience in related field

・Conversation level of Japanese is required to comminicate with Japanese stakeholders

・Superior knowledge of business functions and warehouse management procedures

・Proficient understanding of inventory and inventory control processes

・Strong leadership abilities with outstanding organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

・Possession of a valid driver’s license

・Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred)

Others:

Salary: SGD 4,500-5,500 +AWS +VB (depending on the individual performance)

Interview process: 1-2 rounds (In person)

Annual Leave: 14 days
