Job Purpose
To provide local HR administrative support, advice and guidance to employees and managers located in the Asia Pacific regions on all HR matters of the employee lifecycle
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of a high quality, consistent and responsive HR operational service to managers and staff within Asia Pacific region
- Building relationships with managers to give sound, professional advice on HR issues
- Manage employee relations issues e.g. advice to managers on performance matters and disciplinary issues
- Provide advice and guidance on local recruitment process from vacancy approval to job offer
- Process right to work documentation for new employees to RICS across Asia Pacific, including but not limited to being the main contact for the Ministry of Manpower in Singapore
- Advise on any management change issues, including redundancies or variations to contracts
- Consulting, influencing and coaching line managers on people management matters to develop knowledge and capability
- Provide advice and local legislation guidance where required, efficient, high quality administrative support (documentation and HR system management) to the HR Co-Ordinators. Including but not limited to:
o Contracts of employment and new starter documentation
o Changes to terms and conditions
o Leavers
o Recruitment
o Maternity/Family Friendly
o Restructures
o Benefits
- End to end management of Employee relations issues
- Local benefits administration, advice and communication
- Deliver high quality data and liaise with payroll as appropriate & adhere to payroll cut-off times
- Provide support to the HR Co-Ordinators to manage the Global HR inbox within agreed SLAs
- Provide people intelligence and work with HRBPs to deliver solutions
- Support the HR team in other projects and activities as required

Experience / Skills Required
- HR experience gained working in Asia, including but not limited to Singapore, China and Hong Kong
- Employee relations knowledge and broad generalist experience, including team restructures and Employment Law knowledge in Asia
- Experience of recruiting candidates in Asia but not limited to Singapore, China and Hong Kong
- Excellent communication skills
- Extremely well organised and efficient with the ability to respond effectively to ad-hoc and unexpected issues
- Significant experience providing HR administration support within a busy environment
- A hands on approach as well as exposure to the full HR employee life cycle
- Have experience of undertaking redundancies, performance management and formal disciplinary processes and achieving successful outcomes
- Experience of influencing managers in dealing with people situations
- Providing advice and guidance to managers on HR policies
- Experience of designing and maintain local HR policies
- Fluency (written and spoken) in English and Mandarin
