Main purpose of the job

The Global Sustainability specialist -Human rights plays a crucial role in implementing Human rights strategies in procurement. This role promotes best practices across all regions and drives human rights initiatives. A key accountability includes improving human rights aspects within Asahi Supply chain globally. This role also focuses on building strong stakeholder relationships and managing supplier partnerships, with a specific focus on human rights within sustainability. The ideal candidate will monitor, evaluate and enhance practices related to human rights within Asahi supply chain. Ultimately, this role supports Procurement's sustainability and the continuous improvement of Procurement capabilities and practices, aligning these with Asahi's overall strategy.

Accountabilities and deliverables

1. Implement Asahi’s global human rights strategy for the supply chain
2. Support alignment of human rights goals with broader corporate sustainability and social responsibility objectives

Manager Human Resources & Admin (European MNC)

Our client is a leading European chemicals business and are expanding rapidly in the region. They are currently looking to hire their first HR and Admin manager in Singapore to oversee an office of 11 members based in Singapore.

Working closely with the leadership team in Singapore to help in various aspects of HR.

Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

- Coordinate and participate in the recruitment process, including job posting,

screening resumes and conducting interviews.

- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

2. Performance Management:

- Provide support to managers and employees in performance-related matters.

3. Training and Development:

- Handle HR administrative tasks such as documentation, contracts, and letters.

- Working on monthly payroll and CPF contributions etc.

7. Employee Engagement:

- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Successful Applicant:

• 8+ years in a HR manager role with a good blend of established MNC's and emerging brands. You should be agile, problem solving and able to set up key HR processes and be a true business partner to the CEO.

Fundraising Responsibilities:

• Execute all fundraising plans such as direct mail appeals, grant applications and fundraising campaigns and events.

• Create compelling social media content to promote fundraising initiatives, generate interest, and drive donations.

Volunteer Management Responsibilities:

• Keep track of all donation platforms including access identifications and passwords.

• Filing and organising both digital and printed documents.
• First point of contact for donors and volunteers.
• Co-ordinate corporate volunteers’ requests, from start to finish mainly as follows:

7. send post session thank-you note
